I like to keep things simple, I'm a very easy-going person. I enjoy music and movies... I go see one almost every weekend. I like buying things on clearance. I know a lot of random things that are of no real use to me. I like British humor. I like playing games and doing puzzles. I ask a lot of questions. I hate it when things are not organized. I like watching people and how they interact.

In college I majored in Psychology and minored in Art. What do you do with that combination? Good question.
Basically: Get up, go to work. Come home. Walk the dogs. Do stuff. Go to bed. Repeat. Kinda the way life is post-school.
I just moved to Charlotte a few months ago though, so when I have free time I like to try and get out to explore the area.

procrastination. reading people. over-thinking something. listening. laughing at inappropriate times.

TV: I love Dr. Who, X-Files and Battlestar Galactica, and all sorts of other sci-fi stuff....but I'm not that person who can name all the characters and when they first appeared, the names of all the episodes or stuff like that. Arrested Development, Seinfeld, Dexter, Californication, TrueBlood, Futurama, The Office, Weeds, Robot Chicken, Big Love, Spaced, 30 Rock, 80's cartoons, etc.etc.

Books: Mystery, Historical fiction, Crime novels...Harry Potter...and yes, Twilight. Douglas Adams, Jane Austen, Kurt Vonnegut, Bret Easton Ellis, David Sedaris, Charlaine Harris, Philippa Gregory, & Douglas Coupland are a few of my favorite authors.

Movies: Love the Independent flicks and Sci-fi, all Wes Anderson, JJ Abrams, Danny Boyle's, Action- all the die-hards, spider-mans, LOTR, Transformers, Terminators, Star Trek, etc.
Also like Scary (and not so "scary") movies, big fan of the zombie genre. Comedies, Drama, War movies... even the occasional good old romantic comedy. I like most everything.
Some of my favorites are: Imaginary Heroes, Waitress, I Heart Huckabees, Igby Goes Down, The Darjeeling Limited, 28 Days Later, The Slums of Beverly Hills, Eternal Sunshine, Fido, Shaun of the Dead, What About Bob, Bloodsport, Adventures in Babysitting.

Music: My favorites are Ben Folds, The Weakerthans, Jimmy Eat World and I like soooo many others. Least favorite is rap and that screamo crap or whatever you'd call it. I just don't get that...it gives me a headache and makes me tense. I don't listen to the radio except for NPR... but I LOVE NPR! This American Life, Wait Wait Don't Tell Me...etc. etc. excellent stuff.

Love, life, friends, my mom, Dr. Who, new jobs, the possibility of zombie attack, work, tv, work, family, history, college, songs, space, guys, robots, money, logic, pictures, movies, wishes, words, vampires, Fox Mulder, 2012, psychology, the future, conspiracies, possibilities, dinosaurs, cartoons, tv, dreams, work, time travel, books, faith, sleep, the weekend, people, and TONS of other random things. My brain rarely turns off.

I honestly don't do much on friday nights... I am definitely a homebody for the most part. Loud parties and things like that are not my scene. I don't want to have to scream in someone's ear and ask them to repeat themselves constantly just to have a conversation...that's just annoying.
I will usually watch a movie or go over to my friend's place. Something simple, if anything.

You are interested in maybe making a new friend. You spell correctly and use normal phrases. Possibly chatting without stupid cheesy flirting or references to sex in every other sentence. Seriously, that's ridiculous and awkward.
