My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I might be a "double" damn Yankee as I have been in Atlanta for 20 years, but am a California girl at heart. Originally from NYC area I have strayed, culturally, a bit far south and a little too long though I enjoy the sunshine, warm weather and good friends. Wanting to live in a more progressive area and find a sympatico community. Will hopefully relocate farther north or west. 6 months working in the garden at Esalen might be a great transition. So would cooking school in Paris or Tokyo. I have my dreams.......
I think outside of the box but keep a care for what is going on inside. Prioritize a sense of humor and to "keep it real". Time is precious. I have been working in the healing arts and teach Compassionate Communication (a consciousness and skill set to create more satisfying communication),volunteer with refugees, mentor cancer survivors on their journeys and edit a newsletter.

For enjoyment: art, music, conversation, indie and documentary films, planetariums, travels - mostly in France, hiking, fabulous healthy food, reading, (lust for) learning, meditation, being a museum docent, the symphony, organic gardening. Want to try more outdoor sports and am delightedly learning more about science. I am constantly looking for ways to be an "Everyday Philanthropist" (name of book)

At one time I was a sophisticated New York stockbroker (so what - family business) but eventually reconnected with my passion for wholeness and health. It is still a quest and I am insatiably curious about almost everything. We didn't say "shut up" in my house growing up but every darn time I asked "why" I got that "there you go again" look.
Still sophisticated and seeking but playful, warm and thoughtful in the face of the great mystery of life. I am looking to create a mutually respectful partnership with someone who would value the same. Then comes the fun...
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.

I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Creativity in everyday life. Empathy. Looking at both sides of the coin. Crying over Italian food in Puglia, trip planning, savoring, sharing affection. Remembering to keep mind and heart. Wonder and curiosity.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Wabi Sabi, affection, friendship, touch, coastlines, color, music, poetry, stargazing. That's 9 choices. My untamed rebel has once again flown her freak flag. "Marching to the beat of my own accordion" (Judy Tenuta)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How to create the years to come in a happy sustainable way. How I can be part of the solution, not the problem. How satisfying it would be to find a compatible partner. Traveling near and far. Adapting to life's changes with grace.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Could be anything.
