My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am grateful to say that at this time in my life I feel happy and blessed. It sounds too simple, I know, but it's true. I have a deep inner peace and joy. I have of course been through my share of hard times, like all of us…. and have learned a great deal, and am grateful for a life of grace. I have two great kids, both adults on their own far away, with whom I'm very close, and one 11 month old grandson.

I grew up in NJ, lived many years in Vermont, and now in northern California. I enjoyed my childhood and was lucky to have very supportive parents, a brother, sister; we were raised in a liberal, Reformed Jewish home. I went to college, earning a BA in Dance. I was a professional dancer most of my life (ballet, modern, ethnic, choreography, etc etc), and worked for many years in the dance and disability world, a passion of mine. In the 90's earned a Masters degree in Education which opened many doors. My career has been rich and varied, often fun, certainly creative. Currently I am an ESL teacher in SF, to which I bring creativity and an open heart. I love it!

I am young at heart and have a vibrant spiritual life which guides my inner and outer choices. I am oriented towards being of service and offering kindness and joy. I love being in love, and at the same time, I am in love with life, and thus I'd rather be on my own than be with the 'wrong' person, so to speak. Ultimately, I would like to have a long-term relationship.

I enjoy the exploration, discovery, adventure that relationships can bring. It has been my experience in dating that one never knows why one is meant to meet someone. Several years ago I had a date with a man who has turned put to be one of my closest friends. Another time, a business relationship ensued. You just never know, so I am open.

I think that's all I have to say for now :-)
I wish you all the best in your search for love.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I live in San Francisco and I teach ESL (English as Second Language). I love my work, and I love where I live in shared housing with friends. I love to hang out with family and friends, spend time in nature, be of service and do some good in this world, attend music, theatre, and dance venues, cooking for loved ones, and I also love my solitude, silence, and meditation.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
loving, listening, laughing, hugging, singing, dancing, teaching, cooking, being a good confidant and friend, creative thinking, writing, having faith and being positive, being a mom and new grandma :-)
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
my smile and laugh, my eyes, my hair, my warmth of heart
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.

On a typical Friday night I am

The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I used to be a 1/2 time jazz dancer for the NY Cosmos Soccer Team in Yankee Stadium. Not all that private I suppose, but amusing.
