I am shy, musical, and vegan.

My Self-Summary

I'm an artist/musician who loves to eat, sing, dance and play. I grew up in Montreal and although I've spent most of the past 6 years away, I love this city with all my heart.

I've sung and played music most of my life and now the Ukulele is my instrument of choice. There's nothing like a sunny day in the park with good company, my uke and a vegan friendly picnic.

other interests include: cooking, ART, photography (especially polaroids), collecting records and old cameras, learning new languages, hugging, making people smile, making sound, forgetting there's a tomorrow.

What I’m doing with my life

I've been traveling through europe for most of the past year. I just got back from a short trip and am contemplating looking for a place here, heading back to Vancouver for a bit or heading down south.

I’m really good at

making people smile, eating, dancing and being there for people closest to me.

The first things people usually notice about me

probably my facial hair, that i'm short, and that i'm almost always smiling

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

No One Belongs Here More Than You: Stories (Miranda July) one of the awesomest artists ever! Slapstick (Vonnegut), Animal Farm (Orwell), Siddhartha (Hesse), Eleanor Rigby (Coupland) and books about art

Films/directors:

Me You and Everyone We Know, Ciao Professore, King of California, F for Fake, Woody Allen, Mel Brooks, Christopher Guest, The Coen Brothers, Chaplin, Kubrick, Tarantino, Larry David, Lars Von Trier...

FOOD!!! it needs to be vegan for me to ingest it!

I've been making some kick-ass juices since i've been back in mtl (mostly green)

I love my moms home cooking (italian), Indian, Ethiopian, Thai, middle eastern (falafels & Hummous!!!) , mediterranean, Moroccan Tajine, Tamiya (Sudanese Falafel with peanut sauce), Sauce au pois (Creole bean sauce), Japanese, Malaysian, Singaporean, Vietnamese and so many great veg friendly places in Vancouver (budgie's, the Naam, Hawkers), Montreal (Aux Vivre, Chuch, Crudessence) and Berlin (Hans Wurst, Maja's Deli, Voner) .

The six things I could never do without

My Uke
vital organs
vegan food
some sort of chilli or pepper
my voice
sound

I spend a lot of time thinking about

how much i love women, food, music and traveling

On a typical Friday night I am

jamming on my uke, Dancing my ass off, having drinks on a terrasse with friends, sharing a nice meal with good company, hosting a vegan potluck or just cuddled on the couch to something funny or smart.

You should message me if

If you like mustard more than ketchup, like to act silly sometimes, want to dance till you drop, want to travel the world/the country, collaborate on art projects, play music or bike.

I am a very open-minded person and willing to try anything once (or so i think) so just drop me a line and we'll take it from there.
