My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Born & raised on long island, went to college out of state before getting a job in the city and moving to Manhattan. I love to get out and be active either through sports (intramurals in the city), sunday fundays, or any of the random events that may be happening on a given day in NYC; a day sitting around inside is a day lost.

Overall I would say I'm a pretty easy going guy. I love to laugh and make the best of awkward situations. I may be a little timid at first about opening up to new people but have no problem sharing with my close friends.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Currently working as a project manager in engineering while putting a start-up together in my spare time. The spare moments that I do have are spent volunteering at a non-profit organization in the sustainability energy field. So yep, I love to keep busy but all of the time working is balanced with equal time play with friends going out to bars, hanging in the park, or checking out the new restaurant my friend found on Time Out or Thrillist.

In the meanwhile, I'm always on the look out for new and interesting things popping up in the city and taking advantage of fun opportunities. Whether it is a weekly bar trivia with friends, kickball/dodgeball social sports during the week, hanging out on the beach dts, spending friday night in watching a movie and relaxing, or the occasional road trip to Bonnaroo, there are plenty of things I enjoy doing; the only problem is finding the time in a week to fit it all in.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Bar trivia questions dealing with music and also cooking. Give me something to cook and I can prepare it for you.

Working with my hands and assembling things (yay a childhood of legos and an engineering degree!)

Knowing the words to a song and singing/whistling along without knowing the name of the song or who sings it.

Making time to kick back, relax, and spend time away from work.

Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Books: recently I read through Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy which was a very fun and interesting journey. Started picking my way through Tom Clancy's books and enjoying his take on espionage but got caught up in studies and need to get back into it.

Movies: just about everything except for horror films. I have a strange liking to British comedy (think Snatch and the original Death at a Funeral) a love for Mel Brooks, and can get into most scifi movies. Maybe Quentin Tarantino instead? Sounds like a plan. But please no Saw.

Shows: haven't been to broadway in a while though am looking for a good reason to go see some of the new shows.

Music: any and all classic rock ranging from pink floyd, paul simon, & steely dan to newer music like dispatch, dave, blink, or the magnetic zeros. Rap is cool as well but hold the hip hop & pop.

Food: just about everything. To say I am a foodie would be an understatement. Between oyster happy hours, spreadsheets of top restaurants in the city, excursions for soup dumplings, or simply cooking dinner after work, food is definitely one of my passions and there is nothing I wont try once.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Music, especially live music. cannot imagine what life would be like without concerts
My cooking knife, because without it, cooking would be that much more difficult.
The NY Jets!!!
Fresh coatings of snow on a frosty winter morning.
Spicy foods
The beach
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What type of music would best fit my current mood, and then finding and playing that music.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
The same thing we do every Friday night....try to take over the world!!!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

English is my first language and I'm absolutely horrible at it.
