My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Originally from New York, I called Portland, OR home for 10 years until moving to Maui over a year ago. I've enjoyed exploring the island, discovering amazing new fruits, quiet beaches and meeting lots of great folks.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I started a digital marketing firm eight years ago which allows me to work from just about anywhere - and so I chose Maui. I get up with the sun, get my work done, and do my best to enjoy my afternoons and evenings either at the beach or out exploring the island. I love to cook, so usually home in time for dinner and then a quiet evening of reading and relaxing.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Finding the humor in any situation.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

books: Thoreau, James Allen, Steinbeck, Phillip Roth, Bill Bryson
movies: primarily a fan of documentaries - lots of PBS stuff.
music: Bob Dylan, Ryan Adams, Counting Crows, Avett Brothers, Decemberists, Wilco, YMSB, Blind Pilot, Shins, Lisa Hannigan, M Ward, Sam Cooke, most bluegrass.
food: I love to cook healthy organic dishes in my kitchen or on the grill. Still learning how to cook fish though.

I gave up the workweek when I moved out here - so Friday night is no different than a Sunday or a Tuesday as far as I'm concerned. Simple answer - enjoying it.
