I am witty, dependable, and calm.
My Self-Summary
Ok, it's never easy to write about yourself, but I'll give it a
shot. I was born and raised in "the OC" but sadly, my experience
was nothing like that of the characters on the tv show. I come from
an almost disturbingly normal family, and I'm the black sheep who
moved up to LA to work in the film industry. Movies are a huge
passion of mine, and have been for as long as I can remember. I was
always known as the shy kid growing up, but thankfully I've shed
that reputation, and I now love meeting and talking to new people,
which I guess is part of the reason I'm on here. I love making
people laugh, and I try not to take myself or life that seriously,
so more often than not I end up being the comic relief in
situations. My humor can be sarcastic from time to time (read: all
the time), but I try to be as genuine and caring in my
relationships as possible.
What I’m doing with my life
I work in the film industry, in development, trying to work my way
up the ladder. A lot of my time is focused on my job/career, but
I'm definitely a person who stops to smell the roses as often as
possible.
I’m really good at
Making people laugh, and making them feel comfortable. I try to be
as down to earth and honest as I can be.
The first things people usually notice about me
Physically I guess it would be my smile, but soon after I open my
mouth, it's usually my sarcasm that people notice.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Books: Catcher in the Rye, 1984, anything by Chuck Palahniuk, Is
This Game Great or What? Movies: Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless
Mind, Fight Club, Goodfellas, JFK, Boogie Nights, The Graduate,
Before Sunrise, Before Sunset, Back to the Future, Chasing Amy, and
the list goes on . . . Music: The Get Up Kids, Death Cab for Cutie,
Rilo Kiley, Green Day, Jimmy Eat World, Bright Eyes, Tilly and the
Wall, and many more. Food: I'm very much a meat and potatoes kind
of guy. Nothing beats a good steak. I also love Italian food,
Mexican, Chinese.
The six things I could never do without
The first two are a bit cliched, but true: 1) family 2)friends
3)movies 4)baseball 5)a car 6) dessert (I've got a bit of a sweet
tooth)
