My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Sweet, gentle, sincere with a big heart. I am easy-going, and with the right woman, affectionate, romantic, and loving. If we ever get to the point where, I say, "I love you", it will not be just to make you happy, or because it is Valentines day, or to get you in the sack, it will be from the heart, I'm kinda old fashioned, with respect to love, guess I still belive in old fashioned romance.

I'm the quiet, maybe even a little shy, type, least untill I feel comfortable with someone. I never was the guy with the good, "lines", I just can't connect with a quick one-liner. I want to spend time getting to know someone, to build a foundation.

I hate trying to describe me, in a written, "self-summary".
First, I'm not a writer, it's like pulling teeth to force myself to sit down and try to describe all that is me, in a few sentences. People are too complex for that. But I also realize that, in this format, one needs some starting reference.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Well, at this moment, I'm trying something new, this forum, to see if this is a way to find a friend, partner, and dare I hope, maybe a love to share the rest of my life with.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I'm a good listener, good at being a friend, and companion, because
that's what I want, I know you need to reflect what you want.
I mean there are other things that I'm good at, but does a woman
really care that I'm good at my job, or that I have a mechanical
side, and prefer to fix things myself, I doubt it.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I don't know, you would have to ask them,...that's why I hate filling out questionaries like this, silly questions. If I were pressed for an answer, I suppose the answer is my red hair.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books, well nothing much as of late, never seem to have the time to just stop and devote the time to just reading a good book. Listen to a lot of talk radio, and am constantly hearing about books that they are talking aboout, that I think, I want to get that, and then never find the time to. I'd like to,...maybe, get an, "e-reader", Kindle, Nook, etc. I like the idea of having a number of books at my disposal without carrying them around. Then maybe I'd have more opportunity to read here and there on the go.
Movies, I like almost all,...not into, "slasher" movies. But like anything from a brainless, "popcorn pic", to deep drama, I can appreciate a well crafted story, something that has so many plot twists, that it keeps you on the edge of your seat,...and at the end, didn't see that coming!
Shows,...have not been to one since, "Annie", not something my guy friends do, and would not go by myself, but with the right woman.....
Music, enjoy most, with the exception of the stuff you would expect for my age, like: hip-hop, rap, heavy metal, grunge, etc. I don't think I'd like opera. I do have a fondness for oldies, soft rock, romantic music, whether it is instrumental, or just plain ol "mushy music", like the radio show, "Love songs after dark".
Food; I lean toward Italian, and Mexican, but am open, as long as it is good. Don't really care for seafood, maybe beause I was raised in the midwest.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Oh boy, here we go again,...there is the obvious, food, water, etc.

I'd like to wax poetic, and say things like an ocean sunset, (being from the midwest), with the one I love. Or simply the love of a good woman.
But if I'm here, then I guess I'm surviving without those things.
Let's change that.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How much time ya got?
Everyone spends time thinking about a million different things.
Global warming, the economy, whose gonna be the next President, are we destroying our oceans.....
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Depends on what's going on,...that's what I love about the bay area, there is always something different to do.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Well,....ok,...but promise not to tell my male friends.
I like "chick flicks", romantic comedies, love stories,...cried at
"The Titanic", just watched and loved, "Love and other Drugs". Will
always have a warm spot in my heart for "Love Story".
I am definitely, "An Incurable Romantic".
But please,... don't tell the guys!
