I am outspoken, humorously sarcastic, and open minded.
My Self-Summary
I'm not a typical girl..though I'm sure lots of girls say that. I
don't get caught up in girly things. I own less than 12 pairs of
shoes. I don't care about makeup or fashion. I don't own a cat. I
don't get jealous, I don't get clingy. These last two are the best
things. Most girls annoy me deeply.
I enjoy procrastinating to the point of obscenity, listening to
horribly loud music, driving aimlessly, being drawn on with
sharpies in bars, wandering around the house at 3am when the rest
of the world is quiet and hearing a train go by, tattoos, really
bad B movies and reading anything I can get my hands on...
What I’m doing with my life
I work in pro audio public relations, and love my job. I bought a
house a couple of years ago that I share with my two pups in a
pretty cool part of the city.
I’m really good at
fixing things, making a mess, keeping track of other peoples stuff,
making things with my hands, drumming up the enthusiasm necessary
to start a project, talking someone else into finishing said
project, giving advice, not taking advice, laughing at
inappropriate moments, making you laugh at the moments I've just
made more inappropriate, taking care of the people and animals
around me
The first things people usually notice about me
definitely my hair...it's past my butt. Once they stop talking
about that, usually it's my eyes.
Once people get past appearances (I can come across as dark and
unapproachable, apparently) people are usually startled by how nice
I am. I am not unusually nice...it's just in contrast to first
impressions...books, covers, blah blah blah. Unfortunate that
people are so judgmental in the beginning, I say.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
I read a lot of nonfiction, true crime, mythology, psychology and
horror.
Movies...
Lost
Boys,
Donnie
Darko,
Nightmare before
Christmas,
Clockwork orange,
Hellboy, etc..
I listen to stuff like
Tom Waits,
Leonard Cohen,
Sisters of Mercy,
Pixies,
The Cure,
The Smiths,
Modest Mouse,
They Might be
Giants..things of that nature
I dig Sushi and Thai most of all
The six things I could never do without
My pups, nights out with my friends, my books, something to write
on and with, independence, music
I spend a lot of time thinking about
the general state of things (the world, my life, my house),
traveling for work and play, my 6 nieces and nephews, what sort of
thing I'm getting tattooed on me next, people I haven't seen in
awhile and should, the price of obscure items in even more obscure
countries, what would happen if I were to give into my urge to just
start screaming(would I really never stop like I suspect?), making
good on my threat to run away and join the circus...
everything all at once, usually.
On a typical Friday night I am
either having drinks with friends, at home reading, or driving
nowhere in particular with music playing much too loudly..
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
it wouldn't be very private then, would it?
You should message me if
