Just moved to Salt Lake City to start another chapter in the overly long novel that is my career. Looking forward to the change living in the city brings. I seem to bounce back and forth between cities and rural towns. No true preference but perhaps a leaning to having things to do tilts the scales somewhat in favor of populations.
I found this site because of the tests and curiousity got the best of me as people started saying hello now and then. I enjoy making new friends with varied perspectives and cultures.
I am always willing to answer any questions. However, I guess a bit of knowledge about who and what I am is terribly important if someone is to decide to take a risk and say "hello".
I grew up in southeastern Montana with dreams of going places and doing things in this world. Instead I graduated from a local college with a BA in Math/Comp Sci and minor in History. I picked up a comission in the United States Army and went off to play soldier.
Unfortunately for me that career choice was a bit of poor timing as I came into the service during the Reagan build-up and left during the Clinton down sizing. I later moved on to serving in the Army Reserves.
Outside of the military I have put my focus on experiencing the world first hand. I love to travel and experiencing other cultures brings me a great deal of pleasure. One of the places I enjoyed the most was a 6 month job in Bucharest Romania working closely with the Romanian military, US military and US Embassy. I loved my time overseas and I am planning a way to return.
This is a work in progress so I will try and add more later.
I am chivalrous, adventurous, and open-minded
