My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Tall, fun(ny), and good...personality. Spending most weekdays in San Diego for a new job with weekends back home in Los Angeles.

Getting it all out in front; I am married. My wife is a cancer survivor. We're still very much in love and I do not want disrupt what is already a great relationship. We have found that our friendship has been the best foundation for handling both of our needs and we jointly decided that this route of dating through OKC is the best of both worlds for us both to be happy.

So what's with the married guy pokin' around in here? Well, I have met great people on OKC and am hoping to find someone who enjoys the things I listed below and is willing to play them with me.

Board games, geeky fun, and movies/TV with friends has become a great social thing for me and the friends I've made here in San Diego. I'm hoping to find more people that have that mix of fun, adventure, and a little gaming geek in 'em!

Those whom i've met on OKC say i'm both fun and funny and that I am charming and witty in person. i hope you'll think so too! Being a transplant I'm always learning something new that San Diego has to offer. I've met some great people through OKC to explore with.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working too much but enjoying the people i work with. Playing not enough, but enjoying every second of it that i can. Trying to enjoy my time with the new friends I have met here. I'm always looking to improve myself and to be open to new things.

We play games, watch movies/TV, and go out to eat, drink, and be merry. It's amazing how many people enjoy these same things. And to share games. authors, and other fun with them (and vice versa) is great!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Making those around me laugh and feel good about themselves.

I'm good at most things but I am NOT a handyman. (But I CAN change a tire!)

Making you roll your eyes and laugh with what I say and do!

Making a witty observation either at exactly the right time or the very WRONG time, depending on your sense of humor and our surroundings.

Being a gentleman while also having a little devil in me.

Tell me what YOU think after we've been hanging out a bit.
The first things people usually notice about me

6'6" means I'm just plain noticed! After that most likely my eyes and smile. Humor immediately follows.

It's hard to find a genre I do not enjoy. I have recently entered a Dresden Files kick where i'm burning through that series.

If I change channels to A "classic" like Shawshank Redemption, Galaxy Quest, or Fifth Element I have to finish it...it's that good. I'm not a huge Twilight fan and I never truly got into the Harry Potter hoopla. But that said, I enjoy indie flicks just as much as the summer blockbusters, rom/coms, and even some good horror films. Someone said "just don't spoon feed it to me." I think they said it right.

Oh, and if you love The Game and/or Firefly you=WIN in my book.

Games are great. Euro board games, sit games, card games, and some video games. Great excuse to get together, be social, be imaginative, and have fun.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I no particular order;
Playing with my dogs
Spending time with friends/family
Exercise
Good BBQ (beef, is the real deal)
Adventure
Spending time over a board with friends, laughing uncontrollably.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Ways to make your toes curl. Actually I think of how to make you laugh. Then I'm thinking of something fun to do!

Why OKCupid has so many masturbation questions! Seriously, why?!
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Spending time with friends and/or family. Traveling. But sometimes it's nice to be a homebody or to just geek out on the computer or TV.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
That my tongue is a versatile tool. I'm guessing you can interpret that at each of the G/PG/R/XXX levels.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
- you didn't run away screaming when you read my summary.
- you want someone that is going to make you feel good about yourself and laugh out loud (I mean it. Every woman I've met from here has mentioned this, even if we leave it at "friends" or "not what I was looking for, but wish I was!"
- you want a man that is attractive, confident, and knows how to treat you properly
- because something you read here resonated with you and you think another friend is a nice thing to have
- and most importantly, you know that friends is the key and that I would never push for more than you want. (It really IS all about you. Who'd of thunk it, right?)
