I am easy going, friendly, and a dork.

My Self-Summary

I don't like filling these things out, but I'll try.

I was born in Korea and moved to Australia on Australia Day 1989. Since then I have lived in Brisbane, Melbourne and now Sydney.

I enjoy doing the things I've listed down in "What I'm doing with my life".

I'm pretty easy going and enjoy doing stuff.
I thought I should join this, considering that during the three years I've been in Sydney, I have been hanging out mostly with work people... And that can't be too healthy.

Is that 100 words?

What I’m doing with my life

I am currently working and for some unknown reason, I am studying again.

When I have some free time, I enjoy movies, going out to eat, having a few drinks, taking photos, doing photo stuff in my darkroom, watching live music, attempting to play a lot of different instruments and many more things. I pretty much like anything and noticed that amateur stand up comedy is pretty cool too.

I can play the bagpipes

The first things people usually notice about me

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

My favourites... hard to choose, but I'll list a few that I really enjoyed:

Movies:
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Zoolander, Inglorious Bastards, Oldboy, The Royal Tenanbaums, Clerks, Amelie, The Godfather 2, Fight Club, City of God, The Breakfast Club, Pulp Fiction, Slumdog Millionaire, 28 Days Later, Infernal Affairs 1&2, American Psycho, Seven, Shaun of the Dead, The Shining, Requiem for a Dream, Donnie Darko, Rocky Horror Picture Show, High Fidelity, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, old Disney cartoons, animated stuff... I can go on forever (and the odd romance comedies... sigh)

Music:
I am terrible with names in general. So I have no idea who sings what. I mostly listen to Triple J. In recent recent times, I've heard some good stuff by Placebo, Regina Spektor, Lilly Allen, Jamie T, MGMT, Muse, etc. Other bands/singers I like are: Radiohead, Nouvelle Vague, Pink Martini, Smashing Pumpkins, PJ Harvey, etc.

TV:
I don't watch much TV anymore, but I used to enjoy:
Black Books, Futurama, South Park, American Dad, Seinfeld, Weeds, The Office, and a whole bunch more... I can't seem to remember any at the moment... Oh and some anime from time to time

Books:
I don't read much, but when I do, I really enjoy it. I like graphic novels, manga and proper novels as well. I really enjoyed "Diary" and "Lullaby" by Chuck Phalaniuk, High Fidelity, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. Currently reading "Pygmy" and I have a few others which I've been meaning to start on. Classics like Brave New World and To Kill a Mocking Bird are great as well.

Food:
I will try anything at least once... And in most cases, I will like what I eat.

The six things I could never do without

Movies, Music, Camera, Computer, Food, Family/Friends

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Many many things

On a typical Friday night I am

Either watching a movie, relax at home or catching up with friends for a meal and maybe a drink or two
