My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a mushroom-cloud-layin' muthafucka'.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I keep myself busy, but I'm always looking for new people to adventure with. I like climbing things (anything, really) and going places not easily gotten to. Also, ending sentences with prepositions.

I work in tech, and I love what I do, but it's mostly a means to an end - having the means to explore other interests.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
taking online dating profiles very seriously. This is serious business, after all.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My stunning good looks and rapier wit, clearly.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

This would be way more fun to find out in person, but suffice to say, I know how to read, I enjoy music, and I eat food.

I tend to go for entertainment that makes you think, Asimov, Heinlein, Vonnegut, Tarantino, Scorsese. Every now and then something a little lighter is fun too. I recently finished American Gods, which I thought was quite good.

Musically I'm rather promiscuous; I'll listen to just about anything, and my favorite songs are rather scattered. I suppose I tend to default to classic rock.

I'm easy to please when it comes to food, but I do enjoy a nice dinner out, particularly Sushi. I wouldn't consider myself a foodie, but I do enjoy going out for a nice dinner every now and then to mix things up.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Good company, the outdoors, learning opportunities, exciting challenges, relaxation, laughter.

I suppose these aren't really 'things' exactly, but things are overrated anyway. I also love animals, which sort of fits in with 'good company' and 'the outdoors'. I rarely meet pets that don't like me, and pets were a huge part of my childhood.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
trying to take over the world.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Batman. On an atypical Friday night, I'm climbing something, having a drink with friends, or decompressing at home on the couch after working too hard all week.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
is that this sentence is false.

you're ugly, dumb as a post, and have nothing interesting to say. Wait a minute, strike that, reverse it. Online profiles are terrible for getting to know someone, so let's chat about something interesting instead!
