My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I grew up in Philly since junior high but spent a good deal of time living in California, a majority of the time in San Diego; now I'm making a return engagement. I love the east coast but I still have a bit trouble with the idea of something called a "winter". I came back to help family so my future is a bit up in the air but I'm definitely of the philosophy of making the most of everything so... here I am on OKC.

I'm definitely ENFP... maybe a slight lean towards ENTP. I can be a bit reserved on occasion but am definitely outgoing; I love meeting new people and doing new things. I love... life... and that sounds so cliche but I do probably tend towards hopelessly optimistic. I definitely love to travel but haven't been able to do enough of it recently. By car whenever possible.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I've mostly worked in IT; doing freelance and contract work while finishing up a degree right now. Otherwise... trying to resurrect a fledgling internet business, writing blog posts that I can never seem to put up, trying a side career in writing in general, occasionally making electronic music or random digital "art" or graphic design, learning how to 3D model, procrastinating on painting the trim in my house, trying to change the world, trying to find a better job, and occasionally fantasizing about signing up for that one way ticket to Mars.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Everything. Relatively speaking; if I suck at something I tend to become obsessive over getting better at it. More specifically, I suppose I'm good at... fixing things. Or figuring out how to fix them. As long as they're not made of wood, wood and I don't get along; although I have been experimenting with wood filler. Trying to see the big picture in everything. Reading situations, people... debating; defying logic... and sense, probably... playing devil's advocate; colloquialisms; run on sentences; spending too much time online. Colors. My kitchen is purple, my car is orange. It's harmonious.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Hmm. I suppose I'm pretty easygoing; enough for people to comment on it. Strangely, I feel like I should be bothered by that.

Musically... I'm a big fan of acoustic singer-songwriter type stuff more than anything lately. I can get into rock here and there (not metal) but generally favor stuff made with a drum machine and turntables, and its precursors. EDM (house, drum and bass), hip hop, funk, old school R&B, etc. and it warms my entire being that disco is making a comeback. Thank you, Daft Punk.

I tend to not watch a ton of TV... Game of Thrones, Dexter, House of Lies, Shameless, maybe a handful of other cable shows. A bit of anime on occasion... I love One Piece, and a handful of other series. Northern Exposure and Battlestar Galactica probably are 2 of my all time favorites. I watch a reasonable amount of movies, and tend to prefer indies, but there's really no genre I lean towards.

My attention span isn't really conducive to books. Every so often I'll read something enough to become obsessive about reading to the end, but usually they end up on a shelf with a bookmark forever left on page 25. I tend to favor articles, poetry on occasion, and tl;dr internet commentary.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Peanut butter. I can't really think of 5 others, I'm probably ill prepared for a zombie apocalypse.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
More like what don't I spend a lot of time thinking about. Economics, evolution, psychology, philosophy, theology. Chaos theory, game theory, Gaia and self organized criticality. Oh and I recently started getting into M theory. I kinda like reading about science whenever I can. Pseudoscience is even more entertaining.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
At home, probably. I tend to prefer just to go out for a few drinks on weeknights lately. I'm a sucker for a good dive, though, and a big fan of smaller venue concerts, or a weekend road trip. Throngs of people can be fun on occasion. I've gone to countless music festivals, conventions, and other events... Comic Con, Burning Man, Coachella, among others.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm pretty much an open book when I get to know people.

If you're INFJ or INTJ apparently?

If you find politics and religion (peppered with sardonic humor) appropriate dinner conversation. I am pretty left, so there's that. I'm pretty vehemently in favor of equality; economic, gender, racial, LGBT, and so on. I'm pretty adamant about being atheist as well... not in any kind of militant way, but I do kind of think the Jehovah's Witnesses are afraid to knock on my door anymore. :(

If you're somewhat adventurous and/or like people; with an exception for a sociable misanthrope. I could always use a foil. But I'm very much so an extrovert, and I make a terrible homebody.
