My Self-Summary

Hello un-real world.

No matter how many times I re-write this, I still hate it. It's probably because I'm hiding something. Jk.

I just found out that I'm an INTJ, and that you're probably not. It means nothing to me, because I already knew I was an ass before taking the test.

Update: I WAS moving back to the coast until I got laid off for the second time this year, so I'll be in Lakeside at least until the end of the year, when my new job starts. (Don't swoon too hard!)

What I’m doing with my life

I'm still figuring that out. It's about the journey anyway, right?

Caution: Boring details ahead.
For those of you who need to know, I'm a real estate broker who is riding out the poor economy as a project coordinator for a construction company, and I have a typical part-time customer service job too. What this means for you: Yes, I am educated and I work hard, but No, I am not rich, or even close to it.

In the distant future I want to re-develop urban areas to improve conditons for the residents and the environment. If I can figure out how to do this in Latin America, I'll be stoked.

I’m really good at

...snide remarks and feeling really good about myself. I'm also pretty good at saying "Horrible!" like Christopher Walken says it. (Ha-rrible!)

Unfortunately, I am nowhere near the dancer that Mr. Walken is.

The first things people usually notice about me

That I'm scowling at them. I guess I'm friendlier than I look.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Basically, I studied Spanish lit in college and loved it, and I tend to like the classics in English. My music is usually reggae, blues, jazz, or good ole rock. Food is usually spicy ethnic or seafood.

Right now I'm taking a break from Kerouac, reading Hemingway, and planning out my trip from Ethiopia to South Africa next year. Can't wait for Addis.

Also, if you know any particularly good secular philosophy on the theory of God, I'm all ears.

The six things I could never do without

dogs
independence
wind
sun
plants
la solidaridad

I spend a lot of time thinking about

I'm trying to be positive, despite my contradicting sense of humor.

On a typical Friday night I am

As most of us do, I try not to let my Fridays be typical, but if I go to a bar it is most likely one with a few old guys, a shuffleboard, and some good beer on tap. (the old guys are incidental, not the attraction haha) I actually enjoy this more than being at a club.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I'm not giving you very good odds, but I'd love for you to prove me wrong.
