My Self-Summary
I am pretty down to earth and easy to get along with. The most
important things in my life are progressive politics, food, friends
and family, and exploring the city. I am not type A nor am I shy.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm currently hanging out in DC for a few years working at a
non-profit. I'd like to keep working in something progressive for
the foreseeable future. In a few years I'm going to be ready to
move to a different city, but that's very much to-be-determined.
For now, I'm relaxed and working regular hours and enjoying the DC
life.
I’m really good at
Keeping track of things that are going on in the world, roasting
potatoes, making travel plans, telling bad jokes, carrying a lot of
wine back from TJ's, copy editing, sweeping, eating.

That I'm asking them a lot of questions.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
I haven't been reading a lot of books because I mostly read news
and magazines -- though I'd like to find time to relax with a book.
For movies, I have a fairly deep allegiance to Blues Brothers and
Sneakers. It's not a movie, but my viewing of choice right now is
The Wire (we're in season 3 in my house currently). For music I'm
open to an awfully wide range of stuff; the most recent concerts
I've been to were Afro-Cuban All Stars, Ozomatli and Sharon Jones.
I like both healthy food and unhealthy food. I'll cook tofu,
broccoli and brown rice, and the next day stuff myself with pizza.
The six things I could never do without
Bread, cheese, grapefruit, chocolate, spinach, black beans.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
My friends, politics, trains, food, cities, framing for blog posts,
framing for pictures, enjoying the seasons.
On a typical Friday night I am
