My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
My name is Sean. I've taken some time to find myself, and am ready to get back out there. With work and all it can be hard for me to get out there and meet new people, so here I am.

My ideal match is someone adventurous, who wants to go out and try new things, but is also comfortable spending a night staying in and watching TV, movies, or listening to music. I'm looking for someone adventurous and supportive, first and foremost, but if you have any interest in one or more of my interests (or don't currently, but would like to hear about them), that's certainly worth bonus points. :)

Some of my interests include music, sports (especially basketball), craft beer, and computers. I love to go to concerts, and will usually travel several times each year to go to concerts. The most recent time was to see Beck, Phantogram, and Broken Bells, in two consecutive nights in Tulsa. I play the guitar, along with several other instruments, to some degree. I love to watch basketball, especially Shocker basketball, but I'll watch the OKC Thunder pretty often, too. I brew beer at home with one of my friends, and also love to go visit breweries whenever I travel.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
At work, I'm the guy people come to when their Linux system breaks. More accurately, I'm a software engineer, who specializes in Linux.

I have a Bachelor's and Master's degree, both from WSU, and I have my own house. Most of my free time is spent on housework, my hobbies, or hanging out with friends.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Logical problem solving, and knowing random, relatively useless, facts. Like, for example, there is an intersection of Tippecanoe St and Tyler Rd in west Wichita. I love historical references like that.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
That I'm tall.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Movies: I don't tend to watch a lot of movies, but I like a lot of sci fi and comedies. For example, Star Wars, Star Trek, Inception, Mystery Men, Idiocracy, Office Space. Of course, it's not limited to those genres to me, it's just those are the kinds of movies my friends usually drag me to see.. Haha.

TV: Parks and Recreation, How I Met Your Mother, Seinfeld, Brew Dogs, much of the stuff on the history or science channels.

Music: Porcupine Tree, Radiohead, Broken Bells, Phantogram, Nine Inch Nails, Muse, Foster the People, Sigur Ros
I'll usually binge listen to certain bands as I get into them, but the above gives a good idea of what I've been into recently. I like my music with a lot of complexity, like a good craft beer. :)

Food: Just about anything, with the exception of a few specific things.. I love spicy food and Mexican is probably my favorite. I wish there was a decent Indian food place around here!
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My smartphone, a computer, guitar(s), a car, a comfortable place to sleep, and some goals to work towards.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Whatever project I'm working on at that moment. What needs to be done next for one of my homebrew beer batches.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Hanging out with friends, playing one of my guitars, playing a video game, talking to people, watching basketball, or just chilling with a beer and listening to music.

When I go out, I'll usually hit up one of the local craft beer spots: The Anchor, River City, Wichita Brewing Co, Public at the Brickyard.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My friends and I made a Star Wars fan film in high school. I taught myself how to do much of the visual effects.. Also, we're making more right now. One of the bedrooms in my house houses all of the costumes and props, as well as a greenscreen.
