Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Really nice guy, educated. Definitely look and act much younger
than my age. Would very much like to find a connection to build on.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
In my own business and very much a entreprenuer. As a dad, making
sure I am the best father I can be is the most important thing I am
doing right now. Beyond that, need to be fulfilled by doing things
I believe in and can be passionate about.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I'm alway finding the positive side to a situation. I do believe
that everything happens for a reason and that focusing on the
negative never gets you anywhere. You know, shit happens and it's
all how you deal with it. I'm pretty decent at figuring things out,
although many times not in a very conventional way. Have a great
way of turning a negative into a positive! Maybe that's part of the
success I've had in turning business situations around. While I
think I am also exceptionally intuitive and allow gut insticts to
drive me sometimes, that has also gotten me into trouble :-( I'm
also a great salesman for anything that I have passion for.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Well, if they know how old I am, that I look and have the energy of
someone many years younger than my actual age (thanks Mom! -- think
that's where that came from). People usually peg me for my late
30's. Maybe not the first thing, but eventually they do notice I
have a dry, sarcastic wit :-) Very frankly, the first thing they
notice might be that they don't notice me. I tend to stand back
until I'm good and comfortable and then make my entrance (wish I
didn't pass that trait onto my daughter).
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Enjoy any kind of ethnic food. Particularly fond of spicey foods.
Am willing to try just about anything. Wish I had time to read
more. One of my goals for the next year is to set aside time to do
that. One of my favorite books is still The Front Runner. I
remember reading that secretly when I found it in the stacks as a
high school library page. There's a line in it that goes something
like: "Do you wish you were never gay" and the response is
something like " Well does that mean I wouldn't like looking at
boys?" --- That might not be exact, but in my mind required reading
for any gay man. Movies, like the Beautiful Launderette, actually
saw that in London. But the movie I turn to whenever I'm down is
Casablanca. Louie, this is a start of a bautiful friendship.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My morning coffee.
Regular visits to the gym.
My favorite, sleeping naked cuddled and intertwined with someone
Wonderful food, not necessarily gourmet (even Skyline Chili falls
into this category for me).
Doing something that I have passion for and believe in.
Travelling to new and exotic places and exploring the world.
Hugs from my kids.
And # 7, enjoying the eye candy at the gym, on the Esplandade or
where ever (sorry, so shallow, but true)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Making sure I am being the best father I can be and trying to avoid
doing things that will be the fodder for my children's discussions
with their therapists later in life! Recently, what are those
fucking Republicans thinking of (got to admit, I have voted for a
Republican Governor in this great Commonwealth --- not Mitt).
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Chillin' with my 9 year old wonderful son.
Getting in an evening workout at the uncrowded gym.
Cooking a wonderful dinner.
Trying to figure out the next thing I could do without employees,
no overhead and that could be done anywhere.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I do have a thing for men who are younger than me and also find
myself very attracted to Asian men (although not exclusively).
Guess another thing might be that while in my business I am the
driving guy, at home I'm very happy going with the flow. Lastly, at
some point in life, I really want to go to culinary school. I want
to be a contestant on Chopped (and win my episode of course)!
