I've lived all over this country, and keep coming back to MI like a homing pigeon -- not really sure why though. My friends in the area are my family, and they mean a lot to me, but I'm still on the hunt for the elusive soul mate. Honesty is high on my list of important qualities, both for myself and others in my life -- I try to be open and understanding of where others are at in their lives, but do want them to be honest about wherever that might be... I'll do the same!

Working in the creative end of retail, also have a side line business working in people's houses redesigning and home staging. Have also taught at 5 universities, been a carpenter, cleaned toilets, you name it!

listening to people - almost dangerously. Find it harder to talk about myself unless someone draws me out/shows interest in me. I'm creative, a problem solver, pretty good around the house fixing things, have a great eye for detail, and a pretty good sense of humor, though it does get sarcastic at times and that can put sensitive people off...

Probably my eyes, and my intense look -- I'm a big time believer that eyes are the windows of the soul, and I always want to know who I'm dealing with, whether it's business, friendship or dating. If you're uncomfortable looking directly into someone's eyes, we would not be a good fit...

My dogs, a creative outlet, my friends, a computer, coffee in the morning, hot water...

Meeting a friend for drinks or dinner, hanging out at home with the dogs and relaxing.

Honesty and integrity are an important part of your life. I do like mysteries, but I'm tired of dating them. I'm not looking for a prince or the devil (not that both don't have a lot of exciting qualities), but I'm at a point in my life where meeting someone real for something real sounds much more appealing than continuing to hunt for empty excitement.
