My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I've been here just over two years from South Florida and so far I love it. There's so much to do here that it's sometimes overwhelming but always fun.

I like getting off the couch and finding fun adventures around town or a short drive away. Festivals, restaurants, concerts ziplining, kayaking, whitewater rafting, hiking, etc. I love it all. Also love baseball games during the season.

I try to make the most of my weekends.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm an attorney but try to have as much fun as possible with what many probably consider a boring job.

I don't make my life about work.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Most of the things I'm good at are somewhat useless... foosball, scrabble/words with friends, trivia, etc.
I can also do a full split and touch my nose with my tongue. When I showed my parents touching my nose with my tongue when I was little, my dad said I'd make a great husband one day and my mom smacked him. I had no idea why.

Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
I read mostly non-fiction books and long magazine articles. I love my iPad/kindle.

Movies: Shawshank the best, perhaps Forrest Gump next, and Billy Madison is an all-time favorite but Adam Sandler kind of sucks lately. Also enjoy most documentaries. The former journalist in me. However, I have seen very few movies because I find that I don't have the attention span to sit through most of them. TV shows are better lengths for me.

Breaking Bad is the best show ever but I love mostly comedy on TV including The Daily Show, Colbert, Fallon, Conan, Louie, Sunny, The League, Archer, etc. TV is good for down time but shouldn't rule your life. Also currently digging Suits, House of Cards and Orange is the New Black.

Music: used to be a punk kid but now I listen to everything and find myself leaning more toward a lot of indie stuff. Basically see the Shaky Knees lineup and that's what I love. Love music festivals and concerts. Radio is pretty unlistenable although it's infinitely better here than in South Florida. The concerts here, however, are awesome.

Also love This American Life on radio/podcast. Yes, I am a nerd.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I don't think I need much besides my family, my friends and my dog. Of course, I'd like to say I could live without my iPhone but that would sadly be a lie.

I also love my amazingly comfortable king bed. I also can't work without music on, so music is everything. I think that's 6?
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How adamant some are that you MUST LIVE ITP OR I WOULDN'T EVER EVEN TALK TO YOU. I live ITP, but get over yourselves.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Hanging out with friends at a low-key bar after a nice dinner or whatever else friends want to do.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I thoroughly enjoy the Clermont Lounge.
