I am an intelligent woman who finds more value in common sense...I love wordplay and intellectual intercourse...I can flirt with the best of them, but prefer conversations to not be completely salacious....in other words...I am not here to just talk about sex! I have a wickedly weird sense of humor about most things, which, out here in the online dating world, can go a long way!
I am a mother to an amazing little boy who has autism...he's very highly functional, and very energetic...keeps me on my toes (the sense of humor helps a lot too! ). I am not looking for a father for him, he already has a great one...but, if someone can make it past just dating me, I would expect them to have a genuine interest in him and be a good role model...and understand that he is my #1 priority!

I am a cynical romantic, which, I guess, makes me a realist. I am looking for someone that I am both mentally and physically attracted to, that's just for starters, but this isn't about what I want, it's supposed to be about who I am.
I enjoy spending as much time outdoors as much as possible...love to camp, fish, hike, and ride 4wheelers and motorcycles, when I get the chance. Sunsets, rainbows, water falls and nature, in general, take my breath away at times. I also enjoy photography, dancing,singing, bowling, shooting pool, playing darts, and spontaneous adventures. I don't categorize myself by any of those activities, hopefully, you don't either. I am not opposed to, and often prefer (especially in the winter), staying in, cooking dinner and curling up on the couch to watch movies. I tend to play things by ear, and just go with the flow of life.

Besides raising my rambunctious son, I am currently in school full time, majoring in early childhood development and intervention...I will be helping children from birth to age 3 who have delays or disabilities, to reach their fullest potential. Other than that, I am filling out boxes like these in the hopes that I can find that spark.

I am an artist of many mediums...I draw, paint, sew, make jewelry...crafty in general. I also enjoy cooking, but not the clean up afterward. For the most part, I am good at any thing I put my mind to.

That depends on what I want them to notice. Typically it is that I am not shy. Next would be the dark hair and glasses....not going to sell myself here...if the pics intrigue you at all, then you should find out what's inside.

Books: The Color Purple, The Green Mile, anything by Anne Rice, C.S. Lewis...too many good books to name, I love to read!

Movies: Shawshank Redemption, movies from the books above, The World's Fastest Indian, Big Fish, anything by Tim Burton, inspirational true stories, not a big fan of really scary movies (Jason doesn't scare me!)...love a good laugh or a good cry...sucker for a happy ending or movies that keep me guessing. I also really like action movies, like the Boondock Saints and Shoot 'em Up...killers with a conscience, mmm. And I am still a big kid in that I love "kid's" movies, like the Shrek series, Cars, The Toy Story series...you get the point.

Music: I have very eclectic taste in music, except polkas..if I can't at least dance to it, what fun is it? If I had to choose a favorite, it would be singer/songwriters of almost any genre...I don't mean to be vague, I just love music in general...I just have to be able to either understand what they are saying or be able to dance to it, or both! I love DMB, Shinedown, The Doors, Nina Simone, The Indigo Girls,Sade, Pink, Clapton, Korn, Allison Kraus, Cat Stevens, ( told ya, eclectic).....and on and on.

Food: country cooking, pizza, red meat, seafood, just about anything that doesn't involve green peppers or curry.

Depends on the day...like today, it's "maybe a nice pic of my ass" would help! lol....again, sarcasm!
