My Self-Summary
i am 23, a cultural anthropology
student at UAF though i plan to go to grad school for Ecological/Sustainable
Anth... spend a lot of time out with friends or with my dog Huckleberry... I moved back
to the East
Coast this may and am finishing my degree distance education.
my parents own a farm
and i spend my days gardening, chopping wood, taking walks down to my lake, and swimming for goodness sake. Hmm,
so what else? Right now I work as a clerk at the Kittery Trading
Post. i love to travel and go camping in the woods. i am a big fan of anything out of
doors though i prefer at least a temperate climate. i smoke herb, always have,
and drink socially. i am the youngest of four girls, so luckily for
me i love hand-me-downs and
vintage-esque clothing. im not big on shopping and maintenance but
i do like to get dressed up when I do go out. if you

What I’m doing with my life
in the process of getting a BA in cultural anthropology with the
hopes of going to grad school for ecological anthropology. the long
term plan is one of two things, maybe both: to study food
distribution and security issues in the island regions of the south
pacific and mediterranean, and to start my own sustainable summer
camp program for the children of NH
I’m really good at
laughing, living life, going with the moment, singing?, swimming
forever, loving unconditionally, loving and leaving, diffusing
conflict, taking photos, people watching/interviewing, being a
deceivingly composed drunk ......
The first things people usually notice about me
im very short, i smile a lot, i talk even more, and i have
'multicolored' eyes
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
favorites are hard to narrow down for me - i have extensive lists
on my myspace page but since im always seeing new movies, learning
new artists, and reading new books, its hard for me to really write
any in stone
i finally got a chance to read Daniel Quinn's Ishmael and My Ishmael (the sequel) - a must for everyone..
bout to start the new Michael Pollen : In Defense of Food
i also read a book by Dan Millman called The Ways of the Peaceful Warrior.. awesome book...
and I read Sex Lives of Cannibals last week, can't think of who the author is for that one at the moment.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
how im going to pay those silly bills and still do what i want,
what i need
On a typical Friday night I am
either at home doing homework and playing with my dog , or else
dancing my little
self silly out with friends. we are also big fans of bonfires.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
im willing to try just about anything once? and also i do my dishes
in high heels and a dress... sweeping too.. i know, it's weird.
