I am inventive, loving, and a gypsy.

My Self-Summary

I'm just a country boy from Wyoming. I recently moved to Mansfield, MA following my job. I may not look it (although, my boss says I do), but I'm the Sr. Software Architect for a small text-analytics company. I mention this, because it allows me to pursue one of my passions - that of solving problems, and through that - changing the world for the better.

While I'm by no means an artist (although I am slowly learning to play the guitar), I have a deep appreciation for art and music. However, I am an avid photographer and I love taking pictures and I'm always looking for new people/places/things to capture on film.

I also love being outdoors, especially considering how much time I have to spend indoors for work - so I try to walk, hike, and ride as much as possible - as the weather and work allow. I also tend to give into my gypsy nature, and go on random walkabouts/misadventures on a whim - I find that life's much more fun that way.

I do my best to live in the moment, while learning from the past and keeping an eye towards the future. I believe that life is about the journey, the people and experiences on the way, rather than the destination

What I’m doing with my life

I'm living my life as best as I can. Work takes up a lot of my time, and the cat tries to claim the rest... ;-P Seriously though, I try to explore the area as much as I can (while still getting paid). I love flying kites on the beaches in the area - my only regret is that it's getting too chilly in the evenings (not to mention far too dark) to fly my kites.

Beyond that, I'm just livin' life as it comes, and waiting to see what tomorrow brings

I’m really good at

I don't know that I'm really good at anyone thing, except for maybe sticking my foot in my mouth.

The first things people usually notice about me

These days, it's probably the long hair - or the building I just walked out of... or more likely the combination of the two...

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

There are far, far too many to have a full list here. I pretty much like a little of everything when it comes to music. My literary tastes tend to favor scifi and technical books.

When it comes to food, there are no clear winners, as I'm always trying new food and typically loving it

The six things I could never do without

1) Friends
2) Family
3) My cat
4) Shelter
5) Food
6) Love

I spend a lot of time thinking about

What lies ahead of me on my journey. And, more specifically I find myself wondering if there exists a companion willing to walk alongside me and share in my journey as I would share in hers. Beyond that, I think a lot about ways to help improve the world - and inventing thing to aid in that goal

On a typical Friday night I am

I'm probably either in the Boston Commons hanging out with some friends or at Java Jo's enjoying the open mic night

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

That I'm afraid of spiders

You should message me if

you think I'm interesting and want to know more. Or, if you want to hang out, chat, hike, bike, etc...
