My self-summary
Everyone that knows me calls me Paul.
Born and raised in Cincinnati, OH.
Split from the Marine Corps Aug 2012 after 9 years and now, school.
Just another lost soul swimming in a fishbowl....

You will never catch me dead wearing crocks, skinny jeans, sagging pants, v-neck shirts, sleeveless shirts, ridiculous belt buckles, or a crooked, backwards, or flat billed hat. I can dress myself without looking like a laundry hamper monster or someone desperately trying to fit into some sort of stereotype/demographic and I can even tie a tie!

I do not like to describe myself with adjectives, and would rather leave that up to others while I just do what I do.
What I’m doing with my life
Well, right now I am in school given the career change necessitated by leaving the Marine Corps. I'm going to Cincinnati State for the mechanical engineering design program and plan to double on the manufacturing side as well.
I’m really good at
I love anything outdoors and/or on the water, and I'm open for company OR trying something new (if you can teach me something new, let's do this). I like to think I know my way around the kitchen, and actually enjoy cooking from time to time (but doing dishes is my single most despised household chore). Had a friend joke that one day I'll find a well to do young lady to settle down with and that I'd make a fine househusband..... still not sure how to take that... particularly given my plans and aspirations in life.
Being personally and socially responsible?
The first things people usually notice about me
Who am I to say? Shouldn't you determine that yourself?
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I mostly like to read history (ww2 era especially), and sci-fi. Lately it seems to be a lot of books written by SEALs, and law/economic theory kind of stuff.

Movies - I'm a guy, I think it should be obvious... anything funny, westerns, sci-fi, zombies, etc. etc. Most recent movie I saw in theaters was The Grand Budapest Hotel - pretty entertaining.

Music - anything with some speed and energy to it. Usually rock of some sort. Lately I've been back into a lot of 90's stuff.
The six things I could never do without
Well, without copping out by listing painfully obvious life sustaining necessities....

Multiple news/information sources.

A decent variety of snack foods/beverages available.

Reliable transportation to get the things I have to or want to done.

Good music - the extent to which it makes any activity, or even life itself more enjoyable is hard to measure.

Good company capable of meaningful conversation.

Stuff and things...?
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The zombie apocalypse. No, I don't actually think it'll happen, but a guy can hope, right?!
My prospective educational and professional future.
On a typical Friday night I am
Deciding whether it's recover from the week time or time to commence shenanigans.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I think I'm the worst judge of character EVER, for the sole reason that I always seem to give people too much credit/benefit of the doubt/etc.... holding out though and hoping to find someone that is worth/lives up to it.
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 18–35
  • Near me
  • Who are single
  • For long-term dating, short-term dating
You should message me if
You're not going to do bathsalts and eat my face is a good starter... and please have something more to say than "hi"
I want something that we can take our time with and let it naturally develop of its own accord into what it should be.
And on the other hand, DO NOT message me if you're going to send something with no thought, consideration, or personalization - if it seems to me you could have sent the exact same message to countless other guys on here, don't expect a response.
