The accomplishment of which i am most proud is that i have raised a moral and independent son.
What will make me smile--finding a woman who is compassionate, intelligent, playful, and enthusiastic.
What i am grateful for--excellent health, the beauty of the outdoors, deepening friendships, and the experience of meeting new people.
My social life--intimate but private.
What i am looking for in a relationship--a friend and companion who is compassionate, educated, intellectual, and passionate; and I only want to be involved with a woman i will always love, no matter how long we may wish to be together, and a woman who is emotionally stable, physically fit, and sexually enthusiastic.
And, I am an extremely attentive lover.
What I am most passionate about--
--volunteering with at-risk youth.
--community involvement: For example, serving as Co-Chair of Boulder Philharmonic Orchestra annual event; volunteer Court-appointed Special Advocate for abused and neglected children; volunteer Mentor for At-Risk Youth, Dept. of Health and Human Services; volunteer, HospiceCare of Boulder County; Colorado Music Festival; White House Project; Boulder Chamber; Boulder Rotary; volunteer with Focus Re-entry, inter alia.
--new ideas that change my current perceptions. (I like people who can open my mind to new thoughts.)
--the exploration of passion and, especially, physical intimacy.
--I keep my body in extraordinarily good shape and expect the same from a woman.
--And, i know my way around a kitchen, am an excellent (amateur) sous chef, take direction well, clean up; and am handy with a wok and an outdoor grill.
--I am bored talking about myself! ...and would rather learn about you.
--UPDATE: I recent founded a new non-profit, called Colorado DACA Support Project. Its mission is to improve economic opportunity for immigrant children brought to the US at a young age. We provide funds for government application fees and provide free legal services through CU Law School. It is my baby, and I am very proud that we are off and running with great community support.
Thanks for reading this far, so now i wish to say--Yes, i am 65, but i am a freak of nature in terms of my physical conditioning and in much better shape than most men who are 35...and, hopefully, i also have some wisdom and experience to bring to the party.

From: "Wild Geese"
You do not have to be good.
You do not have to walk on your knees
For a hundred miles through the desert, repenting.
You only have to let the soft animal of your body
love what it loves.
Tell me about despair, yours, and I will tell you mine.
Meanwhile the world goes on.
Meanwhile the sun and the clear pebbles of the rain
are moving across the landscapes,
over the prairies and the deep trees,
the mountains and the rivers.
Meanwhile the wild geese, high in the clean blue air,
are heading home again.
Whoever you are, no matter how lonely,
the world offers itself to your imagination,
calls to you like the wild geese, harsh and exciting --
over and over announcing your place
in the family of things.
