My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Not necessarily as sweet as the picture would have you believe. And I don't have the mustache anymore.

I love meeting new people of all kinds, but bonus if you can keep up a good conversation.

used to have a list here of things I like to do (travel, books, cycling, etc), but that doesn't really tell you much about me, its like checking off boxes on a list.

I've recently come back to North America after living in Eastern Europe for a while, so I'm still in some culture shock. I work in a think tank. I like maps, and data.

I ride my bike most places, but I have a car to get out of the city as well.

i would like to spend more time in nature than I do.

Here mostly looking for friends, but you never know.

overall, too many to name. Just what comes to mind right now:

The History of Love - Nicole Krauss
The Autobiography of Red - Anne Carson
Beautiful Losers - Leonard Cohen
The Cartoon History of the Universe - Larry Gonick
Midnight's Children - Salman Rushdie

Many things by Wes Anderson (yeah, I know, he can be precious, but I still like it)
Many things by Tim Burton
Many things by John Waters
lots of other stuff too.

the kind that doesn't suck :-)
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I'm not going to list the deep things like "family," "love," or whatever. Yeah, I need those. But here I'm going to be shallow.

1. coffee (seriously, people)
2. contact with friends and family
3. internet access (sadly)
4. coffee (yes, again)
5. while I could do without it, I'd be pretty unhappy if I lost my ipod
6. my glasses. I suppose that trying to function without them would be pretty crappy.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What I want to make for dinner. What neighborhoods I like best. The balance between ideology and practicality. Exploring cities. Food.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
with friends. It really depends. Maybe out, maybe at home, mostly chill :-) One of my favorite things is to cook for or with my friends and spend the evening eating and hanging out.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
my first crush was Luke Skywalker in A New Hope.

you want to? Seriously, if you think we have something to talk about, if you want to get coffee, if you think I'm cute, if you don't think I'm cute but want to talk anyway.

I'm also looking for people who speak romanian or who are interested in knitting or other crafts.
