Hi!~ I'm Matt!

I like to think of myself as a pretty decent person. I treat everyone the way I want to be treated.

I am a bit of a nerd, although I don't really see a problem with that. When I was in college I took 3 levels of Calculus for fun -- my regular curriculum wasn't challenging enough :). I started programming when I was 9, and that's what I do for a living.

I play guitar in just one band right now -- but that will probably increase soon. I also play bass and drums. Music is a big part of my life and I love a wide variety of bands.

Lately, I've been taking an interest in photography. I don't know what I'm doing at all, but I have so much fun taking pictures that it doesn't really matter.

More recently, I've taken up Roller Hockey. It's great fun and exercise. Maybe soon, I'll get better at it. :)

Here's some other random Matt Facts™:

* Whenever I eat pasta, I always seem to get marinara sauce on myself.

* I have a guitar with blue-black sparkle paint.

* I drive by a DeLorean every day on my way back from lunch.

* I have the Insomnia.

* I love tea but I can't stand coffee.

* I invented a fighting style called Jeet Kun Do -- The Way of the Fist -- and I fled to this country from Hong Kong after killing a man.

* The last fact was actually a fact about Bruce Lee

* I'm hopelessly addicted to Wawa. I called the show Intervention and asked for help, but they just laughed at me :(

* I have perfect pitch and a near photographic memory (I never studied for a test after 6th grade or so).

* I'm a licensed motorcycle operator, but I'm still learning as a rider. I have a 1978 Honda CB550 that needs a little bit of work.

I'm working at a Web Design firm in Wilmington, Delaware as a Web Application Programmer. I really enjoy it -- I can't picture myself doing anything else.

I live by myself in a historic property that was converted in to apartments. It was built by George Read and it's about 280 years old. I love it -- very quiet and peaceful. A good place to hang out and watch movies :)

Being intimidating on dates, or so it seems. I have a gavel and I will judge you.

I make myself laugh a lot (see: picture of me with a giant sword on my shoulder).

I'm pretty quiet at first. I need to warm up to people and get a feel for them before I start acting like my silly self.

Movies and TV - MST3K, Bill and Ted movies, Futurama, the Simpsons, Arrested Development, 30 Rock, Reno 911, etc.

Music - Jan and Dean, the Beach Boys, Ko and the Knockouts, Zombina and the Skeletones, Missing Persons, Burzum, 1349, Megadeth, Mayhem, NWA, Eazy-E, MC5, Black Sabbath, The Misfits, The Ramones, Richie Valens, The Four Tops, Man or Astroman, Shadowy Men on a Shadowy Planet, and a bunch more that I can't think of right now.

Food - Italian, sushi, mexican, burgers, pizza or whatever.

Probably my most favorite thing in the whole wide world is the smell of static electricity in the air.

Trying to relax and catch up on sleep lost during the week. Or out with my pals.

I've given up on folding laundry. I now just have a clean hamper and a dirty hamper.
