Remember that scene in Annie Hall when they go to L.A. and are offered cocaine and then Alvy (a.k.a Woody) sneezes all over the place and a huge cloud of pricey SoCal blow goes wafting over their heads like their collective disillusionment? I'm kind of like that, but younger and slightly better looking.

What I’m doing with my life

Currently: Using my expensive education to be underpaid and underemployed, interning at a dying publication, fruitlessly scouring Craigslist for new opportunities, and staying positive.

Eventually: Being successful. Traveling the world. Coming up with new ideas. Sharing said ideas with others. Enjoying a unique kind of happiness that doesn't rely on material comforts, but may include one or two nice things and some fancy meals.

Mostly: Enjoying my fleeting youth in San Francisco, city of cities.

I’m really good at

Trivial Pursuit, saying smart sounding stuff about arty movies, improv games, drawing pictures of donkeys, bringing up factoids I heard on NPR and recounting them badly, drinking strong black tea and whiskey, tying bow ties, climbing to the top of tall hills and looking at the surrounding splendor.
