My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I read. I play tennis. I abhor racists. I talk. I listen. I love conversations. I hate seafood. I love food. I love travelling. I love being outdoors. I love walking. I love long drives. I love cheap food. I love animals. I love gardening. I love physical work. I love a mental workout.

I am quite okay with homosexual/bisexual people, as okay as I am with the straight people. It is not like they are asking for our approval, are they?

I think women are wonderful, I am all for feminism. I am a feminist. My views on feminism have evolved. Kate Millet makes a lot of sense now.

I feel it is very important to be aware of what is happening in the world around you. Politics is important. It is okay if you don't know the contents of our constitution but it is important to know that there is a constitution.

I have three great regrets in life: 1. That I can't dance.
2. That I am musically handicapped, though I once learned the bass for 3 songs in six days and played it on stage.
3. That I don't know more languages.

Although I am not a grammar nazi, I would prefer that you know passable grammar. Maybe, I am a grammar nazi.

I like tolerance, it is a greatly undervalued virtue. So is respect. I am intolerant to a lot of things. I hate indulgence. I like the finer things in life. It is weird how full of contradictions I am. That is exactly what I am - weird.

And I write like I think, incoherently.

I have had a few life-altering experiences in the last couple of months. This profile needs to be redone.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I am preparing for the civil services. Trying to learn grammar. I have never formally studied grammar. Grammar has always been intuitive for me.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I only try what I know I'll be good at, that is one serious handicap I have. However, I'll tell you what I am not good at. Dancing. I have never really tried to dance. Am always afraid that I'll end up embarrassing myself.
I should say that I have opened myself up these days, am trying new things all the time.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

There is just too much to write here.

I read a lot. My latest was Gabriel Garcia Marquez's Love in the time of cholera. It was profound and it moved me like no other book has. I watch good movies and bad. I love music that transcends language. Susheela Raman, anyone? I like lyrics that make sense. I like food. I love food. There is just one tiny thing: I don't eat seafood. My father says it has something to do with what happened when I was little.

I like people who read. I detest people who think Harry Potter is beneath them. You can hate Harry Potter, but to say that you are intellectually above it is something I won't tolerate. This is something that I see quite often these days. People trying to pass themselves as intellectuals by denigrating certain things. For the record, I think Harry Potter is brilliant.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Conversations, books, laughter, long walks, good food(No, I don't mean food as just sustenance here. Good food that I can relish.).
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Writing something, anything for that matter. Learning new languages. Re-learning the guitar. Random things really.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
There is no typical friday night. I might just be doing anything. I hardly notice days.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I came here to Okc and I was initially embarrassed that I was even on a dating site. I quickly learned that some people are incredibly interesting. Okay, that is all bullshit. I don't know what to write here.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
you feel that you can actually cultivate a relationship with me. Any sort of a relationship for that matter.

There are a few things that I would expect from you too. Please read through my profile, I would certainly read yours completely. Please be honest. I don't expect you to be completely open with me about everything at the outset, but I want you to say that you can't tell me instead of lying to me. I can take a no, but I can't take a lie.

I have a story behind me, a fascinating one. I have had a great many life experiences. It is the same with everyone. Am here for those stories and sharing those experiences. Message me if you are too.
