My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Quick-witted and wry, I enjoy shuffling through leaves in the fall and playing "would you rather" for hours. Have a phobia of rats and balloons, am a die-hard liberal, but not a hippie, hate the Grateful Dead but spend a lot of time in Woodstock.
Unlike other women, I am more comfortable in jeans than in a cocktail dress, but I can clean up nice. Parents, dogs and toddlers love me.
Also: I make furniture, traveling to Lonely Planet locations, love to banter and tend to be on the line between irreverent and sarcastic,. I try to embrace the ridiculousness of life as much as possible. And I will always eat all the vegetables on my plate and probably some of yours too.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Finding pockets of things I love to do and pursuing them. Enjoy absurdity in all forms.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Making furniture that is somewhat askew and poorly constructed. I am an excellent doodler, procrastinator, reader and banterer.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
That I am bigger than my photos. I have a wide and embracing smile. I am petite in stature and definitely not in personality.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: A fine balance, last of the just, richard russo books, philip roth etc.
movies: you can count on me, once, the matrix
shows: I work at a TV channel, so I watch TV proudly. But generally pretty good shows like Homeland, and Bored To Death, and the best show ever, Locked Up Abroad.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
chocolate, family, pets, friends, books, passport.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I invent a lot of useless things such as:
-Ice cream that looks like savory foods (hotdogs, pizza etc), edible pillows, etc. Not all food related and I don't want anyone to steal these lightening bolts of brilliance, so I will stop right here.
All the places I would like to visit- travel is good for my soul.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Avoiding the meat packing district
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I watch way too much HGTV.
