My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a real cool guy.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm a video editor. I pet nice cats and nice dogs that I meet on the street. I'm really into Baseball this year, out of nowhere. I consider myself a feminist and think poorly of people who consider themselves otherwise. In my spare time I walk for hours and constantly debate whether or not I should smile at strangers as I pass them by. I like to go to concerts that end up being a bunch of dudes standing around while someone noodles their guitar for too damn long. I watch pretentious movies and Step Brothers.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
- Directions.
- Remembering what movie you're thinking of.
- Subtly dropping the information that, yeah, I DJ'd for my college radio station (did you notice the subtlety right there?)
- I've gotten kind of good at photography (Instagram - @iantmcfarland). This isn't bragging because the talent was only developed by hiding behind my camera at parties when I should have been socializing.
- I'm not as good at Air Guitar as I'd like to be.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Sometimes I have a stupid beard, sometimes I have stupid big hair. So the answer varies but I guess we can settle on me typically looking stupid in some respect.

UPDATE - It's now been a while since I've had either a stupid beard or stupid hair. I am suffering from an identity crisis. Who am I, even?

Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Songs, movies, walks, my camera, Wikipedia and podcasts.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Trying to geographically place errant memories that might have been dreams, the semantics of entirely unimportant statements, jokes from 'The Simpsons'.

I'm probably at the movies.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
In 2005, a radio station gave away the ending to a then-new Harry Potter book. I called for an apology, and they just laughed at me. But then I showed them - I made a sign, drove to the station, protested, and in the end they laughed at me some more. They still bring me up on the air every once and a while.

Also if you drive a manual and could teach me. I still don't know how. I am a grown man.
