Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
The family lore is that my grandmother had the spirit of a gypsy,
and I'm just living it out. Some of my best travel memories are
scuba diving in the Great Barrier Reef where I pet a six-foot hump
headed Maori wrasse, hiking on a glacier in New Zealand, and
spending a summer in a small fishing/surfing village on Vancouver
As you can probably see from my photos, I like to smile, and I have
no problem flashing it at will. I truly believe that laughter
should have a US RDA (Recommended Daily Allowance). I'm definitely
a glass is half full kind of girl, and do my best to share, even
making time for those less fortunate. I’ve been involved with Big
Brothers/Big Sisters, Hudson Cradle (where you hold babies of
drug-addicted moms), and many more for over 20 years
I'm a woman who realizes life is too short and that all we have is
now—I love to get lost in a great kiss, enjoy live music, and
checking out On and Off-Broadway productions.
So, if you like a woman with a smile that lights up her whole body
(so I've been told), loves a little adventure, and has a good
heart, then I just may be your one-stop shopping destination.
WHO YOU ARE:
You believe that laugher lightens the heart and even has healing
properties, and with us, life is a laugh a minute. You have
gratitude, but not only for the big moments, for the little ones
too. You’re affectionate, and appreciate the sensual arts—yes,
you’re a great kisser. You prefer to be loved instead of being
right all the time. You have a ‘wealth of experiences’, and can
teach me a thing or two. You’re adventurous-- sure we’d love to go
to sky-diving in Greece or scuba diving in Belize, but an adventure
could also be taking me to Home Depot (explaining what I need to
finish the home improvement project as it will surely be a
journey!). You’re an eternal student, and know that life is about
discovery. You believe magic can be found in the world, and that
it’s generally a good place. But most importantly, you’re looking
for more than just a fling. I believe a partnership works best when
we act as each other’s biggest cheerleaders. We celebrate when
times are great, and cushion the blow when it’s not. It’s that
simple, now all we have to do is meet. ☺
If this is you - please send me a note --- if not, I wish you all
the best in your search for what makes you happy.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.

DRIVING: I live in Jersey 15 miles from the city (am there a few
days a week), just moved my parents to Northern Virginia (plus a
work from home job can take place anywhere I have access to a phone
and the internet).

Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Music: LOVE live music, feel like it's watching art in motion -
pretty much anything but I haven't quite given country a chance. I
grew up on old disco and it still makes me smile (and yes I learned
how to dance in the streets as well, so I have rhythm)
Books: a Few on my Kindle app (I gave my kindle away to someone who
needed the read aloud feature), I can get consumed with a good book
where I want to know what happens (suspense filled ones) - Been
busy with life these days, and trying to fit more in
Shows: Became a Dexter fan in Season 5, and went on a whirlwind to
catch up, Newsroom, House of Lies, and a couple of others (but
watch them on devices, not TV). Love going to see shows in the
city, and typically catch a few a year (some in previews). A
favorite last year was a small off broadway production with an
audience that was less than 50, with a discussion with the
director/author afterwards. Kinky boots is more like a party in the
Mamma Mia genre and quite fun
Food: Mom's pierogies, B.E.S., drinks at the Setai (not mainstream
so it's nice to enjoy quiet space on Sundays), Crema in NYC, Ciao
for Now, Raymond's, enjoy most types and willing to try something I
haven't - and also have had lots of fun lately cooking for friends
(during Sandy - cooked up my own storm for my misplaced friends)

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You don't mind a woman with a big extended, many times loud *the
family is the loud one*, but even more loving Polish family (only
offiicially get together about 3-5 times a year)
If you are looking for someone who actually wants a partner, and
who is ready to make the time to create something special.
If you think a good heart is paramount (having and being with
someone who has one)
You've read this far & are curious .... I typically don't bite
And thanks to all the men who are curious about me being a cougar
and interested in men significantly younger than I am ... your
interest is a compliment, but at this point, I'm looking for a
partner, not just a fling for the moment.
Enjoy & good luck out there
