My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Lived and worked in Portland almost 20 years. Been married twice. Raised three kids and three stepkids. Not sure where "next" is but I will know soon. I think I have become a better person as life has had it way with me. Family has always been important as being connected is. I am working on being better at speaking to my "needs" rather than my "wants". It seems so easy yet I struggle with this, still.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Life has thrown me my share of curves. I may be here too soon but my close friends say I need to meet some new women! I am a true "Boy Scout"! Trustworthy, Loyal. Helpful, Friendly, Courteous, Kind, Obedient, Cheerful, Thrifty, Brave, Clean and Reverant. And I'll help you across the street and you don't have to be an old lady!!!

UPDATE: Jan 2013
An opportunity has opened for me and I am moving to the Big Island of Hawaii. I leave Oregon mid-February. Aloha
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Simple things. I am a lucky dad six times over. I can cook fairly well; I can bake. I am good at triva. I am resourceful. I am a survivor. I am for the most part an optimist. I am a loyal friend. My dogs love me. I can fix almost anything but a broken heart or a mind made-up.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I am not sure. I'd like to ask those who I have met over the years.

Books. I generally read close to 150 to 200 books per year. This last year on my kindle alone I read 55. So I read and read a lot of different types. I enjoyed the TV series "Hill street Blues" in the 80's and have recently bought the complete series and am almost done watching. Same with NYPD Blue. Anything with Humphrey Bogart(I cry everytime I watch Casablanca). Music is a mix of Moody Blues to Dido to Enya to The Eagles to Roger Whittaker to John Denver, along with Nora Jones, Peter, Paul and Mary and Adele.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What next! Don't want to screw up. Life is getting more interesting and more challenging
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Right now I would say I am reading, listening to music, watching a movie or working on my model trains.
