My self-summary
Okay...so this is where I am supposed to to brag about myself and lay the B.S. on thick, right? Okay. Hello. My name is Mr. Perfect.

Okay...enough of that. I have too much integrity to play that game. If you are looking for Mr. Perfect, good luck with that. Some people have such a long list of "must-have traits" in a mate that it will be very difficult to find one suitable for them and life will pass them by. I am not saying anyone must settle for someone below their standards. I am saying that some people set the bar higher than realism. I won't ever say I am perfect; in fact, I know I am far from it, but I can assert that the joy and affection I bring into people's lives is far worth those imperfections.

Of course, I am NOT looking for MS. Perfect. I am not seeking the most beautiful woman in the world, but the one who makes MY world the most beautiful.

I don’t like “baggage” but a small amount is okay; after all, most of us carry some. In fact, let's help each other unpack.

Here is my short list of "must NOT have traits" in a woman:

User of recreational drugs
Alcoholic or other addiction

That's it. If you are any of these, we are not a match.

If you are a political or religious extremist, or very close-minded and opinionated, we would not likely be a match. But unlike the three above, it is NOT a dealbreaker. I have a great deal of respect for all political and religious views provided they are not forced upon me.

The most important trait I look for in a match is self-esteem, which includes a happy, positive outlook on life; someone with a love of her own body, thus a healthy diet, exercise regimen and regular visits to a dentist and doctor. Also very important to me is a woman with ambitions (career or personal achievements), a sense of adventure (willing to try new food, activities, etc.), intelligence, and a passion for excellence.

I want someone patient; one willing to give a relationship a chance to develop as opposed to instant gratification. It takes time to learn and adjust to each other's preferences, pet peeves, and quirks.

More valuable than any lesson learned in any school, I have learned how to love myself. I had to unlearn the unhealthy behaviors, like being a doormat for others…like being a "yes" man...like putting the needs and wants of others before my own. Having epilepsy since the age of 2 along with ADHD, my childhood was tough. I am happier now than ever before in my life. I had a remarkable brain surgery in March of 2006 that has rendered me seizure-free. Shortly thereafter, I invested in an entertainment business. I then decided to continue my education. I have the wisdom of a senior citizen, the intelligence and responsibility of an adult, the playfulness of a child. All I am missing now is someone special with whom to share it all.
What I’m doing with my life
A few years ago, I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting. While I continue to seek work in this field, I do freelance DJ shows, work for a reputable local florist, and do temp work for a local agency.
I’m really good at
I answer this question with CONFIDENCE, not ARROGANCE.

One of my best talents is making people feel special, especially children, and the elderly. I also love pets, especially dogs. When it comes to making love, I like to take my time and really appreciate a woman’s beauty. I love to kiss, caress and massage her while she perhaps anticipates the greater pleasures to come without any pressure whatsoever.

Another great talent of mine is partially the result of a gift I was given at birth, and partially something I work on daily...my voice. I am a great singer and love to share my voice with others. I also play piano and guitar and write songs.

I am very creative in the kitchen, too. Since I cook to my own taste, I will always think my own cooking is excellent, but my own high opinion of myself has been verified through compliments from those for which I cook.
The first things people usually notice about me
I actually do not know what most people notice first about me, but it’s probably my singing voice since I share it so much. Aside from that, people soon find out how caring, open and honest I am, plus how positive I am. My sense of humor is appreciated.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I mostly read non-fiction books. Favorite authors of mine include Dale Carnegie, Stephen Covey, Susan Jeffers, and Napoleon Hill.

Movies I like are usually comedies, romantic comedies, dramas, or documentaries. Some of my favorites are Patch Adams, A Night at the Museum, Ferris Buehler’s Day Off, Titanic, When Harry Met Sally, Fever Pitch, Never Been Kissed, Airplane, Vacation, Police Academy, and The Naked Gun. I do not like action movies that are graphically violent (such as Die Hard) or horror movies such as Friday the 13th.

Music is my passion in life and I love most genres of music. I do not like most rap or hip-hop, and can only tolerate opera for a short period of time. Everything else is enjoyable, but my favorites include The Eagles, Journey, Foreigner, Heart, Boston, Def Leppard, Restless Heart, and Little River Band.

Favorite foods vary. My tastebuds are very adventurous. I LOVE trying new restaurants, and when revisiting favorite dining spots, I rarely order an item I've ordered in the past. I am so adventurous, I will often ask my server to surprise me! Ambiance is also very important to me.
The six things I could never do without
Assuming this question is designed as a conversation starter, I think I can skip air, water, shelter, etc.

Music (including karaoke)
My computers (desktop and laptop) and all their peripherals (internet, Microsoft applications, etc.)
My Android cell phone (although I leave it off during vacations, dates, meetings, etc.)
Ice cream
I spend a lot of time thinking about
...how wonderful the rest of my life is going to be, and which lucky lady will get to be a significant part of it!
On a typical Friday night I am
There is nothing typical about my Friday nights. Every Friday, I try to vary my activities. Afterward, if I am fortunate to have a client, I am working late nights being a freelance D.J.)
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I am sarcastic and silly. I have x-ray vision, the ability to read minds, I'm a doctor, a lawyer, and the president of the Chippendales. Also, I am not a good liar, obviously.
You should message me if
you want to meet a man who treats a woman with respect; one who is compassionate, caring and loving, yet also sarcastically funny, creative, and highly intelligent.
