Okay, to simply put it, I have an intellectual Gov't job. I'm a stocky 5'9 1/2", I'm funny (sarcasm is my thang), a bit goofy, supportive, caring, a gentleman, an introvert, muscular, but I'm far from being a muscle head! I believe in being well rounded: I enjoy a wide range of music, art (I need to get back into painting again), movies, & performing art, physical activities such as: hiking, biking, camping, fishing, years ago I lost interest in hunting, weight lifting, learning, nutrition, and stimulating my mind regularly. On a typical weekday, I de-stress by going to the gym for an hour and when its nice out, I like to catch some sun for awhile and maybe listen to some meditation music. Fringe sciences fascinate me! I have 2 degrees and close to a couple more. I had some pretty interesting jobs before, such as working in a fish cannery in Alaska, the FBI, landscaper, demolition, the Army, and pre-k substitute teacher. For my current job, I'm a technical specialist. I'm not allowed to say what I do on a public forum, but it's rewarding! I did get my confirmation from the Catholic Church, however as an adult I moved away from organized religion and became more spiritual. In high school, I majored in business and music!
After work its the gym and when it's nice out, I like to put on some relaxing ambient music, and go lay outside on a lounge chair in order to soak up some sun rays (vit D). Occasionally, I'll go out to the bars if my friends make me, but I'm not much of bar person anymore. Ideally, I'd prefer to unwind with my girl; perhaps have a couple drinks, a movie, a walk on the beach, hangout by a fire, maybe put on some music, invite some friends over, or just talk about how our day went.
I am attracted to those who have a healthy lifestyle, physically fit, educated (can't be too smart!), creative, open minded, humble, curious, and a sense of humor. It would be a bonus too to find someone to hit the gym with. Above all, I'm looking for my best friend.
What I'm not looking for is someone who is bossy, believes they're entitled, expects me to be their concierge, out of shape, refuses to break a sweat or get some dirt on them, and treats dining out as their hobby.
