On the surface, I kind of hate everyone, but my friends would tell you that I'm actually very kind and loving. I guess I'm a misanthrope with a heart of gold. I have the sense of humor of an 8 year-old boy, and I don't ever plan to completely grow up. I've been called a "music fascist" once or twice. I am also a volunteer member of the Grammar Police. I despise self-summaries because I find them entirely ineffectual. I'm a huge nerd who loves school, and am in serious danger of becoming the perpetual student. Before there was Facebook, I used to waste a great deal of time on this website taking quizzes, and fostered a whole rash of okcupid members (I don't just waste my own time, I drag others into my den of inefficiency). Aaaand now I'm bored with myself.

Working my way through grad school. Toiling away in retail. Corralling middle schoolers & trying to convince them that school is fun/not actually a prison.

Entertaining myself. Taking care of other people.

That I just tripped over a chair, then apologized to it.

A) I tend to prefer non-fiction, but am also trying to work my way through many of the classic novels I missed in high school. I'm reading about 7 books right now. If you care to know what they are, maybe you're my kind of nerd ;)

B) Star Wars. Lots of others, but the short answer is Star Wars.

C) "Music facist" should tell you all you need to know. I'm a founding member of The Current. If you ask nicely, I might tell you my Top 5.

D) I love, love, love to cook (when I have the time). I'm a big fan of Latin and Asian food, and will try just about anything once.

you're not a bastard who thinks that fat people are second-class citizens. Or if you're fun to talk to. Preferably both. If you've found anything I said here to be moderately amusing, or if you're actually interested in meeting in the daylight/in public (no, I don't want to come to your house at 1 a.m., thanks).
