I've spent most of my life on the east coast and I'm finally getting settled in California. It's Graceland for geeks, and I am grateful to be in a place where I can test my mettle against other equally talented folks.

What I’m doing with my life
Music events, talking with folks, finding new things, brewing
beer,cider, and tea :)
Dancing like a fool and chatting with good folks. When I'm not doing that, I'm researching some project or finding out how to do new things. Otherwise, toying around making beer, and trading notes with some of the most sophisticated brewers in the world.
If there's downtime I watch movies/hulu, play videogames, and keep up with the news (digg ftw). I care for my fish and plants, and also occasionally go and bowl poorly :)

deliberately as fate allows me, while still having a good laugh

On a typical Friday night I am
I'm either at an event or having an easy dinner with a group down
here. Sometimes I just hang out and get some rest, as the week and
weekend are pretty intense.
Friday is for normal people, by and large, so rest is just fine for me.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I go out dancing almost every chance I get -- sunday, monday,
wumpskate/goffee on tuesdays, and sometimes I head up to the city
again on wednesdays(or have dinner with some good folks down in
sunnyvale). There is a lot to learn from folks in this area, and a
lot of good people.
