My self-summary

Every person in my immediate family lives in a different state.
I love, love, love bubble tea.
I like to drive fast, but don't like it when others do.
I say I hate the fans of opposing teams, but without them we have no rivalry.
I let me car get messy because I like how it feels after I clean it.
I am shy, and then all of a sudden, not.
I love apples with peanut butter.
When I have packages sent to my house, I use funny names on the mailing address.
I'm a bit of a grammar and speech snob.
If I eat at a coffee table, I lean all the way forward, instead of picking up the plate.
I love running in the rain and snow.
I call my best friend "Tito", but that is not his name.
I write for two sports blogs.
I play a video game online but refuse to wear a headset because I don't want to curse at a 12-year old.
I have two high school diplomas.
I swam in a pool lane next to Michael Phelps.
I sometimes get teary while watching reunion shows.
I have never smoked, drank, or done any drugs in my life (but it doesn't bother me if you have, or still do (except for smoking)).

I was a professional athlete for 7 years.
I have never smoked weed, but logic tells me it should be legal.
I am not gay, but logic tells me same sex marriage should be legal.

What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
The most motivating thing in my life is the draw of football officiating (yes, throwing the flags and blowing the whistle). I love it and am excited to see where it can take me. In the meantime, I'm meeting a lot of cool people and learning a lot of great things about the sport.
I also currently coach a group of triathletes and aim to help them improve their times, placings, and physical abilities.
My main job is leading hiking and biking tours in many different places. It takes me away from Seattle quite a bit, but I'm in some GREAT places to visit!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
How do you say this without sounding like an ass? I guess I'm a good athlete, writer, and video game player. I can also be funny from time to time.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I've never been told. Is that bad?
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Movies: Shawshank Redemption, Usual Suspects, Tommy Boy, Superbad...
Shows: Office, Parks and Rec, Modern Family, Family Guy, Californication, Mad Men, Entourage...
Music: Mostly modern punk, singer/songwriter, and rock.
Food: Italian, pizza, sandwiches, burgers, Chinese, boba!
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
That's a lot to ask. I could do without anything in my life, because some day I'll probably have to. But if you're asking my favorite things its:
Family, football, laughing, music, traveling, and being active.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Where I want to be, what I want to do, and whom I want to spend time with. I contemplate a lot about life and I quite enjoy it. The possibilities are nearly endless!
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Hanging with friends at a chill dinner/bar or at a movie. During football season I'm on the field under the Friday night lights!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
These things are better discussed in person I think, but I can say that I am willing to talk about nearly anything.
