Hi! I never know what to put in these little boxes! Anyway, I moved to this area about a year ago and am looking to meet new people. I would love to meet the person I can share my life with, but friends are great too. I tend to be quiet when first meeting new people. I am not really into the club scene, though I do like to go out every once in a while. I enjoy quiet nights in or going out and exploring new places. I love to read and will read almost anything. I like movies, but don't really watch much television. I am looking for someone who is comfortable with who they are. Looks are not really important to me, I find intelligence and humor far more attractive. I know that sounds cliched as hell, but there ya go:). I am opinionated and enjoy discussing a variety of topics. I believe in equality and hate discrimination in all its forms. I am an atheist liberal and proud of it! Right now I am working on my career. I do a job that most would find uncomfortable but I happen to enjoy what I do. I am a social worker with an unconventional focus. (ask me sometime). I also love to do research and am working on a couple different projects. I am also doing some writing.

I am good at understanding complex problems and finding solutions. I love to study things and figure out how they work and why. I like to think about things in new ways and love to be challenged with different ideas.

My eyes. They are green and I have been told they are really pretty.

I will read anything, though I tend to go in spurts and read one genre at a time. I will get on a horror kick and read it for a couple of months then I will move on and read about biology. There is no rhyme or reason as to what I will find interesting at any given moment. I like most movies. I will watch action, comedy, romance, sci-fi, etc. I am not a big fan of ninja movies. As for music I like oldies, pop, ethnic, and folk. And food? Bring it on! lol I am not a really picky eater and like most things, though I shy away from items that are very spicy.

I like to think about lots of things. I enjoy contemplating philisophical topics such as: why are we here?, how did we get here?, what is moral/ethical?, etc. I also enjoy thinking about science (biology, genetics, cosmology, theoretical physics, astronomy, psychology, etc.).

Usually my Friday nights are pretty quiet as I am usually coming down from a week at work. I like to take things easy on Fridays. Maybe watch some movies. Saturday is a better time for me to let my hair down (figuratively speaking of course!) and participate in more exciting activities.
