My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hi.

I have to admit I'm pretty bored with internet dating. Its easy enough to meet someone for a drink, but every person I meet seems to be expecting a miracle within the first 45 minutes of meeting. Things are pretty random at that point.

I'd really like to meet a good person, a legitimate companion and equal, but experience tells me its a needle in a haystack. ... Good luck out there.

DISCLAIMER: For work, in June 2015, I was assigned to a project that is based in NYC. This means I am in NYC Mon-Thurs and some weekends throughout the rest of 2015 (and possibly all of 2016). This means Sundays I am usually flying across the US. Occasionally, I return to SF for the weekend, but sometimes I'm like "Lets go see a Yankees game!" this weekend. However, OKCupid seems really confused by this. I apologize for the confusion. I'm just looking to meet my totally awesome best friend for life and yes, I still believe SF is the best city in the world, and NO you can't have my apartment. Sorry! ..... OK .... normal profile material to follow, see below.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Breathing. Working for the man. Snowboarding. Sleeping. Going for a run/workout. Watching movies. Hiking. Reading. Listening to NPR. Making travel plans for my next adventure (Back to Oktoberfest!, or Austria in Winter 2016 and definitely Japan in January 2017!). Watching my team play college football. Checking out cool stuff. You know ... Just watching the wheels go round.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Listening. Whistling. Math. Googling. Card games (Bonus points if you know how to play Bridge). Making children laugh and dogs wag their tails. Volleying the ball with my right or left foot. Pattern recognition. Driving like Mario Andretti. Continuous learning. Avoiding a headlock when attacked by judo ninjas. Packing lots of stuff into a small suitcase. Juggling. Being a smartass. Building stuff. Pretty typical guy stuff I guess.

You think we might have some witty conversations that might lead to a fun adventure. Or maybe you just want to meet up with someone for a drink in Tahoe after a day of skiing/snowboarding. That'd be cool with me.
