So here I go again (on my own).

My name is Anthony, I'm a very active guy with a number of interests such as: reading, working out, watching movies, traveling, and others. I like going out to nice restaurants and enjoying good food and nice wine. I also enjoy going to a laid-back, quiet bar and having drinks, or enjoying live music. I like hiking, walking and exploring new places, and I'm a fairly open-minded person, I'll try just about anything!

I work in the homeland security field, specifically as a disaster planner for Los Angeles County. I concentrate on disaster planning for the healthcare system here in Los Angeles. As part of my job, I also sometimes respond out in the field to major emergencies; everything from brushfires to chemical spills.

Before that, I spent several years out in the field as a paramedic. If you enjoy crazy stories, I have a bunch of those!

I have been told I look a great deal younger than my age.

Favorite Movie: Avengers, Lord of the Rings trilogy, Last of the Mohicans, Iron Man, Inception, The Hangover, Blackhawk Down, Dark Knight Rises, superhero movies, historical dramas, even some romantic comedies. I love all kinds of movies.

Favorite Book: Blackhawk Down. I tend to enjoy historical books, but I like to escape sometimes with some good fantasy/science fiction as well.

Favorite music: All kinds, but bands I'm currently into include AFI, Kings of Leon, Muse, 30 Seconds to Mars, Lucero, The Black Keys, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Foster the People, M83, the Killers, Fun, Florence & the Machine, Snow Patrol, and many others.

Food: I love Italian, Greek, Mexican, Indian, Sushi, French, Chinese, Steak (yum!), and others.

TV shows: How I Met Your Mother, Entourage, Bored to Death, Game of Thrones, Futurama, Family Guy, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and others.

Sports: Rugby, ice hockey, soccer, college football, NFL, NBA, the Olympics.

Observation: Reading through womens' profiles, I noticed there sure is a lot of hate for actors on this site. Not sure why, but I'm glad I'm not one of those!

Rumination: Why do girls think vampires are sexy? They're basically walking corpses right? If Twilight were real, Bella would've said: "Hey Edward, you saved my life but your skin is ice cold and you stink. Let's be friends ok?"

Revelation: "Two Buck Chuck" is $4 now! Damn inflation, they'll have to come up with a new nickname.

Reflection: They really need to bring back or remake the "Wazzup?" beer commercials from back in the day. Those were awesome.

Recollection: Leonardo DiCaprio's death scene at the end of Titanic is still one of the funniest moments in cinematic history.

Out with friends at a restaurant or bar.
Occasionally maybe even on a date, lol.

When I was younger I apparently had a very thick accent when I spoke English, which is pathetic considering I was born in Los Angeles! My classmates in junior high used to say I sounded like Arnold Schwarzenegger going through puberty, lol.

Let's keep this simple. I'm a nice guy who wants to meet a nice girl. I much prefer to get to know one girl rather than dating a number of women and knowing very little about any of them. If that sounds like the kind of guy you're looking for, don't be afraid to say hello :)
