What I’m doing with my life
I just completed my associates’ degree in human services. I do
Eligibility/Site Management for a homeless shelter. Always
recognizing that the world needs change, I try to bring that change
that I want to see. I’ve started a social network in Kenosha that
brings dignity, respect and a voice to those living in poverty.
What I’ve been able to accomplish in this field is encouraging to
me, and I do plan on earning a higher degree. I live on my own,
have a car, and have pets. I would like to have a life partner and
someday, plan on having a family.
I’m really good at
Being honest, sincere during conversation and yet be able to throw
a joke in here and there. My life is pretty balanced between work,
friends, family and such. Often times I can find people’s strengths
and weaknesses. Most of the time I’m good at accepting people the
way they are, but am always inquisitive. I do stand up for myself
when someone is not treating me right, but I’m even better at
standing up for other people’s rights. I guess you can sum it up by
saying that I’m good at being compassionate.
The first things people usually notice about me
That I’m a hard worker and a nice person. People can see by my
actions that I’m sincere. Also its easy to see that I am not going
to tolerate any B.S. or selfishness. Life is too short. Some people
say that they notice my smile and my teeth. I’ve heard that my eyes
change color between green and blue.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
My favorite book was "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil". My
favorite romantic movie is "What Dreams May Come". My favorite food
is meat ravoli.
The six things I could never do without
Love, family, friends, hope, pets, transportation
I spend a lot of time thinking about
My job and all the people who are looking to me for support to get
back up onto their feet. I think about the mom’s who are struggling
to get a job while hauling around their kids. I think about the
kids who see things through a different perspective actually
realizing the situation they are in. I think about the mentally
ill, addicted, and abused that walk into my life. I think about
what more I can be doing, and how others can help.
On a typical Friday night I am
Working late and then hanging out with friends. If not, I will come
home and chat on line or call up a friend to do some catching up.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
That I read the entire Twilight series lol… well, if you want to
know something seriously private about me, I would rather talk face
to face.
You should message me if
you would like to know me
