Please don't be fooled by my tattoos, because I'm not as bad-ass as
I look! I am just into body art and self-expression. if you come a
little closer, you will realize I won't bite... unless you're a
I am still a shy girl at heart, really.
I am currently studying at a local university, working on a degree
in English literature. I am open to meeting people of all
backgrounds, so long as you do not have ulterior motives in
While I profess an interest in fashion, love eating good food, and
enjoy watching movies, I cannot but wonder if these are ultimately
feeble pursuits. I hope to be able to contribute something of
consequence to society in the future.
What I’m doing with my life
Spending my weekdays in school, and weekends catching up on
assignments, but always wondering how I can do something
I’m really good at
expressing myself through words. So many times, people do not
expect a girl of my appearance to hold my own intellectually.
Little do they expect that they are dealing with a lover of
I am an expert at playing Scrabble too, but my ability begets
consequence. People always think I want to play, but I don’t. Our
time on Earth is short and that game is 500% too long. If I’m in a
position to play Scrabble with someone, well, I could think of
better positions to be in.
The first things people usually notice about me
My tattoos: I have got them since I graduated from junior college.
I have got several all over my body (and yes, they are expensive,
and my parents approved).
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
No, not Fifty Shades of Grey, though I have read it. I think the
prose is awkward and unwieldy, though it's really popular amongst
my girlfriends now.
I enjoyed reading David Mitchell's Cloud Atlas, appreciated the
complexity of Memento, love savouring the tunes of John Mayer and
like Japanese cuisine. And sangria— I relish a good glass whenever
I can get my hands on it.
The six things I could never do without
Sex (with the right partner!),
and a healthy dose of awe (I try my best not to be too jaded or
I spend a lot of time thinking about
how I can fund my next trip overseas, and how I can contribute back
to the community. I believe that humans should try to give
something back to humanity instead of being passive consumers.
On a typical Friday night I am
usually at a coffee joint reading my latest literature book, or
catching up with my friends at a restaurant in town.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have a tattoo that most people don't get to see.
You should message me if
you bother reading my profile and questions before you message me.
I seem to get a lot of messages asking me details already publicly
available, so I really appreciate it if you can surprise me with a
message that is interesting.
My inbox is often full due to the amount of messages I get. Keep
trying, I try to empty it out every once in a while! I'm going to
say straight up that if you don't get a message back, it's because
I'm not interested. I realize not responding is kind of rude but
with the amount of messages I get, it would take me literally hours
to do so. Sending me multiple messages won't help your case, it
just makes you look a little crazy.
And guys...I would appreciate it you don't call me "babe." I am
nobody's babe, thank you.
