Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Let's dust off this tired old track shall we? I am currently a
first year grad student in a five year doctoral program for
clinical psychology and so I can be pretty busy at times. Along
with that I just moved in to the city of Chicago and so I am really
looking for people that can show me their favorite spots, exhibits,
and restaurants! I am an introverted extrovert (if that makes any
type of sense!) and tend to be quiet during the first meeting, but
quickly open up following that. I love meeting new folks and am
trying to keep this casual at first, but who knows what can happen
in this topsy turvy world, right?!
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Trying not to get squished by all the paperwork/books that are on
my desk at any given moment, meeting new people, and exploring
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Making my cello squeak, cooking all sorts of food, baking
brownies... connecting with other people, and starting random
conversations with people on the el.

I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Its a tie between my eyes or the tattoos that take up a good

Recently I have been really into book series, I love that they keep
the main characters and the theme alive for multiple books. My
favorites are: The Inheritance Series, The Sorcerer's Ring, Codex
Alera, The Seven Realms and books like that. I also really enjoyed:
The Giver, Perks of Being a Wallflower, and Buddhist
I am addicted to watching movies! My go to genres are: Horror,
Romance, Comedy, and sad movies. It's not unusual for me to watch
the disney cartoons when I need a pick me up.
Realistically I listen to all genres of music. My favorite bands at
the moment are: Years and Years, The Weeknd, Meek Mill, Maddie and
Tae, Tori Kelly and Rascal Flatts.
Cooking and baking are huge destressers for me and so I have gotten
pretty good at following new recipes and tweaking them to make each
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
In no special order:

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I tend to put most of my energy into the future, my head is always
in the clouds. I am always trying to better myself in some way
shape or form. Other than that my friends and family are always on

Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Struggling through my weekly cello lesson, then hanging out with my
roommate or some friends. Its my brain break day so its also the
only day out of the week that I do not do any homework. Meaning
that this will probably be the day that we meet for a date.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I meditate at least once a day
