Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a NY guy living on the west coast now for over 2 years and
really enjoying it. As for the reasons I moved out here? Sounds
like the perfect first date conversation.
I'm a romantic at heart, occasional painter, a drummer, an
attorney, and a biker. I am a happy and positive person who is
extremely carefree, loves to laugh, and loves learning and the idea
of self improvement. Most of all, I am eager to enjoy life to the
I am an avid reader, dig dive bars and wine bars, like to cook
(although out of hunger I often end up making the same damn dish
way too often), and I have been fortunate enough to live abroad and
enjoy some of the best moments of my life while doing so.
I take an interest in the world around me and consider it my
responsibility to help people and contribute in a positive
I enjoy my job and work hard at it - I believe that a career, since
it takes up so much of our time, should be something that we find
fulfillment in. That being said, a balance between work and play,
and the pursuit of hobbies and interests, is probably the perfect
way for me to define a good part of my personality, and in general
I'd like to think I seek balance in much of what I do. Ideally, my
lovely and better half would share similar goals.
Massive Attack, Rolling Stones, Ramones, Frank Sinatra, Pink Floyd,
Classifcal music, or Simon & Garfunkel fans, give yourselves 50
bonus points and proceed to the next subheading.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working as an international trade attorney, trying to figure out
this whole west coast thing, painting something, biking around the
city, writing something, brewing my own beer, studying a language,
reading a book at a local cafe, occasionally watching the
History/Discovery channel, planning a trip, daydreaming.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Making people feel at ease around me.
The first things people usually notice about me

so awesomely trashy). Other than that, the news, and some
occasional History/Discovery Channel. Music: Anything that catches
my fancy; Classic Rock/Rock; Jazz; Classical; Alternative;
international music; a bit of hip hop.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My family/friends; a good book to read; a trip to plan; good music;
pen and paper; an escape route.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
The verdict is still out on what my typical San Francisco Friday
will be. However, having a fun meal out, looking forward to a
number of things I have planned for the weekend (one of which
includes some relaxing down time with the aforementioned book and
people watching for a while in a nice quiet place), catching up
with my friends, and enjoying the city, sounds like a decent plan.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm not admitting anything. Ask and I may tell.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You find any of the above interesting to you. You are not someone
who views life as a script that is just blindly followed. You are
enough of a dreamer to want to pursue adventures together, but
realistic enough to build something meaningful and long lasting.
You are someone who is sarcastic, humorous, adventurous, easy
going, has a good heart, and takes an interest in what is going on
around the world.
