My self-summary
Classic ENFJ.

Just to be upfront: I am sober/straight-edge. Big drinkers need not apply. Even if you're way super-cute. Sorry!
What I’m doing with my life
We're all adults here. Let's truncate this into bullet point format:
- military brat
- grew up slightly overweight, majorly uncool, but still somehow spunky and loving life
- attended MIT for a year and transferred out to be closer to home and pursue teaching
- moved to the DC metro area in 2007 after graduation
- currently working in Marketing and attaining my Master's in Fashion Design from the Academy of Art University

Focusing on my personal wellbeing-- physical, emotional, social, and spiritual. Good health is underrated.
I’m really good at
A few friends have noted that I do spot-on impressions of just about anyone. Grammar and spelling. Listening and counseling. Laughing. Making others laugh is the only pastime I value above laughing itself.
The first things people usually notice about me
My complexion. My flair for sometimes-quirky fashion.

My voice. It's been described as "a little deep and very poised".

My energy. Maybe borderline neurosis?

Overall, people tend to describe me as vibrant, outgoing, charismatic, smart, and fun.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books and music are everchanging.

Musically, I tend to have a guilty obsession with good pop music. I also lovelove a lot of indie rock and synthy sounds. Walk the Moon, Foster the People, Passion Pit, Vampire Weekend, M83, Kimbra, Regina Spektor, Death Cab for Cutie, and some old school Third Eye Blind, to name a few (this list will likely evolve, as well).
*Magic Man, St. Lucia, The Cinema, Tegan & Sara

Favorite movies include Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, I Love You Man, Candy, and The Science of Sleep.

Food... I love to cook and experiment... but I'm a sucker for "little kid" foods. Finger foods? Party snacks? I'm there.

How I Met Your Mother trumps all. Oh, and Flight of the Conchords. Michel Gondry is a directorial genius.
The six things I could never do without
My ever-evolving and complex relationship with a God of my understanding; My baby sister; Creativity and a platform on which to express it; Coffee; Reese's Peanut Butter Cups; Party Peanuts; My cats (yes, I have 2 cats. This should filter out a few of you, haha); A working internet connection; Indie Rock; My ma
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Life, love, religion/God, society, the goodness of mankind, and how to relay my message so that it's funny to *everyone*.
On a typical Friday night I am
Schoolwork and/or getting ready for my Tuesday (as my weekends are in the middle of everyone else's work week)
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm bad about eye contact on a first date. In most facets of life, I am vibrant and confident. In work and friendships, eye contact is easy-peasy. On first dates, however, I get that job-interview sort of "how do I do this? Look at his mouth? Yeah, that. Oh, no, he just saw me look at him!" sort of neurosis.
I’m looking for
  • Everybody
  • Ages 24–33
  • Near me
  • For new friends
You should message me if
You don't need to be a world traveler to get my attention. However, a love for the city you're in and a desire to walk its streets? Huge plus and promising for first-date fun. I'm pretty turned on by guys who sing without abandon at any given moment... Especially if he's really, really ridiculously good-looking.

You should message me if you like people who like to talk. You should not message me, however, if you don't take religion at least somewhat seriously. You don't have to match me in personal philosophy (nigh impossible), but you have to take some ownership in your own beliefs. Moral/religious conviction are a huge turn-on for me-- not in the sexual sense, but rather, I find it rather intriguing and refreshing when you express a serious stance on the matter.

P.S. I don't typically put a negative spin on things, but I have to address one glaring pet peeve of mine. Is every other girl on OKC "bisexual", or is that just a desperate attempt to sound sexually adventurous?
