My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am really into nerdy British dramas, obscure shows/films with cult followings, science fiction and fantasy books, and Pokémon games. I like all kinds of teas, and I like going for hikes, but besides going out for tea and hikes I'm not insane about outdoor activity. My sarcasm can get pretty abrasive and I'm into people that can reciprocate.

INTP if that means anything to you
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I have my BA in Applied Linguistics with a minor in Italian, and am working on becoming a Spanish court interpreter. I typically read frequently and have stacks of books of poetry that I've written. I cook a lot, and I'm getting decent, but mostly eat whatever runs away from me.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
-picking up foreign languages
-making sure all the blood stains are out of my trunk after i put the babies in the freezer
-making lanyards
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I've been told I have awesome hair. It's golden blonde and really wavy, down to my waist. Also my eyes are bright green with a spiky goldish brown circle around my pupils. Also the lack of soul. Just kidding. It takes people a while to notice that.

I'm really into streaming shows, like everybody these days I guess. I frequently will watch the pilot of a show and regret it two weeks later when I've gotten nothing done but finish all 8 seasons of it.
My favorites are Doctor Who, Supernatural, Sherlock, and all of the Star Trek. I've also really loved Monty Python's Flying Circus, Firefly, Sons of Anarchy, Garth Marenghi's Darkplace, Orange Is the New Black, Orphan Black, Revenge, Arrow, Veronica Mars, Breaking Bad, Mad Men, Flight of the Conchords, and Trailer Park Boys, to name a few. My guilty pleasure is serially watching documentaries about conspiracy theories and controversy, and the fact that I own and have watched all six seasons of Entourage.

Book preferences by author:
Mostly sci fi/fantasy- Vonnegut, Anne McCaffrey, Jim Butcher, Isaac Asimov, Patrick Rothfuss, Philip Pullman, Jean Auel, Orson Scott Card, Brian Jacques, Madeleine L'Engle, Tolkien, Neil Gaiman, C.S. Lewis despite all the blatant religious symbolism, even Chrisopher Paolini even though he's a terrible writer; also some philosophical lit by Ayn Rand. Don't worry I'm not a staunch objectivist. I'd say more of a classical liberal.

Some outliers: Bram Stoker's Dracula, The Alchemist, The Shadow of the Wind, Life of Pi, Choke, The Picture of Dorian Gray (even though I'd really like to read more Oscar Wilde), The Jungle, War of the Worlds (I'd also like to read more H.G. Wells)

I have strong opinions about James Joyce and if I ever met him I would give him an extremely dirty look and then make him sit down and explain.

I enjoy underground hip-hop, mostly Atmosphere and Grieves, but I also appreciate Eyedea and Brother Ali and the rest of the Rhymesayers. I've recently gotten into classical music; Vivaldi and Chopin are my favorite composers by far. I've been out of the indie scene for a while but I always liked Arctic Monkeys, The Kooks, Archers of Loaf, stuff like that.

I'm really into healthy eating, and have cut all preservative-laden foods out. But I don't judge! Eat how you want to eat! I mean, I LOVE donuts and pizza and root beer and Doritos tacos from Taco Bell. I have just chosen something different for myself.
The six things I could never do without
