My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Ignore the silly username, it can't be changed and I don't live in Henderson. Now that that's out of the way, about me: I'm am intellectually curious person and like to spend a lot of time reading articles, researching things on the net, Ted talks, npr and the like. A lot of my interests have to do with social justice issues, science, health and healthcare and the environment. As far as my character goes, I would say I’m patient, compassionate, and honest, to name a few. I'm am introvert and usually prefer limited company, but i have moments of extroversion too. I have a pretty good sense of humor and try to see the humor in life. I'm quite liberal/ left, so I am a feminist, anti racist, pro human rights type of person.

I like doing all kinds of things and enjoy trying out new activities. Hiking, traveling, new foods, movies, marathon tv series, camping, concerts, etc.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I graduate one year with my bachelor's in a health related field, I'm very excited!! My college journey has kind of been a long and convoluted path and I'm happy to reach the end of something that's occupied my life for so many years. I regret nothing.

I took yoga classes at college and really miss them, I really want to begin yoga practice again, I really enjoyed it. College also reintroduced me to the flute, which I played in middle school. I love music and would love to become better at it; but hey, I have been busy. :P
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
My job. I've worked in health care for about five years. Although, I can really see myself in a few other professions, I love and am drawn to healthcare. I like helping people as my job and I like the science and technical aspect and the human body. I'm a pretty good listener and think I can dole out some pretty sound advice at times. I'm insightful and observant. I very rarely quit anything I set my mind to, I stick it out and follow through.

I like David Sedaris, Company by Max Barry, Fast Food Nation, In Defense of Food, Freakonomics, Muse and Reverie, Three Cups of Tea, before I found out it was all bullshit, Where the Red Fern Grows, Slaughterhouse Five. I love the way J.D. Salinger writes as well. Looking forward to being able to read for pleasure!

Movies: Her, Hunger Games, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, I love you Phillip Morris, Whatever Works, Vicky Christina Barcelona, Mulholland Drive, Inception, Special, Limitless, One Week, You Don't Know Jack, Amadeus. The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I could do without many things, but I'd prefer these to be around:
Close friends
Shelter is nice
Hot showers on cold days and heaters on cold days and tea.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Whatever is going on in my life. What's going on in other people's lives. Music. The future, at times.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Whatever I want. Might be out or might stay in. Depends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I procrastinate pretty well. I have a cat. There doesn't seem to be a one cat option in the my details section.
