I am creative, musical, and quiet.

My Self-Summary

Well if you're anything like me you'll hate doing this bit. I take that back - you could be nothing like me and still hate doing this bit. I'm a quiet individual but with a frivalous and sometimes dry sense of humour. I'm creative but no artist. I like playing the guitar in an indie rock, strumming sort of way. I'm keen on photograpy, cycling (but only when it is nice out), walking and music. I'm not big on watching sports, though I do watch them if they are on, except for Formula 1Grand Prix which I do watch avidly and have been to the British Grand Prix on a couple of occasions but I'm not really a stereotypical petrol head, F1 is my limit.

What I’m doing with my life

I have had a job, after being made redundant, for about a year which is just as well as I was starting to stagnate a bit, and life seems to be on the up. Can't bear to let my brain get under used so I like to keep it busy designing and making things, mostly in Wood. I have been using ebay a bit, buying faulty digital cameras, fixing them up and then re-selling them. Not a huge profit to be made but it does keep the grey cells ticking over.

I’m really good at

This is a nasty question. I can do alot of different things but I'm not sure I would say I was really good at any of them but I know a number of my friends would. They include the guitar, woodwork, marquetry, DIY, computers, photography and I can even cook (somtimes). Oh yes I can write upside down quite well - not a huge call for such a talent.

The first things people usually notice about me

If I'm noticed at all it's because I'm quiet. I get on and do things with the minimum of fuss (mostly). People see me as serious but they don't know my sense of humour.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

I'm re-reading the Hitch Hikers Guide trillogy ( there must be a word for 5 books ) and I will be getting the new Ben Elton book to see what thats like next. I like escapist films, sci-fi, comedies and crime capers so that would be - Indiana Jones sort of films, Star Wars and Blade Runner, Blues Brothers, Four Weddings, The Italian Job, films like that. I'm not really that keen on horour films they just don't seem to do anything for me.

The six things I could never do without

Chocolate My guitar My camera My computer (sorry) My creativity My friends

On a typical Friday night I am

Friday night is my time to usually unwind, relax, infront of the telly, with agood book or on the PC. But then again it is nice to get out once in a while for a meal or to the flicks.
