My Self-Summary
I love to cook, and I hope to be a chef someday. I really want to
own my own restaurant eventually. I also love to work with
computers, I
take them apart, put them together, and figure out how to fix odd
problems. It's a gift. People tell me that I'm a good listener, and
I suppose I am.
I love the outdoors, but I also love to stay in. I like exploring, and lounging. I'm more than a bit of a nerd, and I have the comic collection to prove it. At heart I am a total romantic, and I'd rather have a quiet, candlelit dinner at home than to go to a fancy restaurant. I prefer to have a small group of close friends than a large group of casual acquaintances. I can be shy at times, but most of the time I just need someone to give me a little push.

What I’m doing with my life
I'm working for the family construction business at the moment, and
I suppose it's not going all that well. So I guess soon I'll be
back out there looking for a job and cursing the economy like the
rest of the US.
Eventually I'm hoping to go to culinary school, since I love to cook. I'd love to own my own restaurant some day...

Well I used to say my hair, but I shaved it all off... so I have no
idea. You tell me?
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
I love to read, though I don't do it nearly often enough. My
favorite genres are fantasy and sci-fi though I haven't read all
that much from either. My favorite authors are Neil Gaiman and
Stephen King but I am always willing to check out anything in that
vein. Oh, and of course I am a huge Harry Potter nerd.
With movies I'm pretty much open to anything. My favorites are Chasing Amy, Mirrormask, The Notebook, Labyrinth and Clerks. That isn't really in any particular order, and I am into other genres too, those are just the ones that come to mind.
I can't really pick out one genre of music as my favorite, though I would say my three favorite bands are 311, Something Corporate and Sublime. That doesn't really help with my interests that much, because they can go anywhere from metal to piano rock in an instant.
I suppose with food I should just say that the only things I don't like are nuts, kiwis, canned tuna and creamed corn.

The six things I could never do without
I honestly don't know. I've never been a very materialistic person,
the only thing I honestly feel a need to use every day is a
computer. But I can go without it it no problem. I'd say sex, like
so many others here, but I've been single for years now without to
much of a problem. Hmm. Books? I know that without literature life
would be a much less interesting place. Friends and family of
course are important, I guess I do need them. Music. Um, yeah, I'm
not sure how many that is but I guess it covers how I feel on the
subject. ;)

On a typical Friday night I am
Well I wouldn't say I really have a typical Friday since I never
know if I'll be working on Saturday or not, but I guess in my
downtime I like to spend time with friends, mostly just hanging out
and partying a little. I don't really dig on the bar/club scene,
but I do make appearances at the local dive bars from time to time.
Pizza and beer with family and friends is more or less the norm
though.
